We stand with you in praying against persecutions and their causes, and we appreciate your acknowledgment of the power in the name of Jesus. The Bible tells us that we have authority in His name, as He himself told us to pray in His name (John 14:13-14 WEB): "Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it."
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, thanking You for the authority we have in His name. We stand against persecutions and their causes, commanding them to be destroyed, according to Your will and in the power of the Lord Jesus Christ.
We pray for those facing persecution, that You would strengthen their faith and give them the courage to endure (Matthew 24:13 WEB): "But he who endures to the end, the same will be saved." We ask that You would deliver them from evil (Matthew 6:13 WEB): "Bring us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one."
We also pray for the persecutors, that You would change their hearts and draw them to Yourself (Matthew 5:44 WEB): "But I tell you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you,"
We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord, and Savior. Amen.
Continue to pray in the name of Jesus, and remember the words of the Apostle Paul in Romans 8:35-37 (WEB): "Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Could oppression, or anguish, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? Even as it is written, 'For your sake we are killed all day long. We are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.' No, in all these things, we are more than conquerors through him who loved us."
Stand firm in your faith and keep praying in the mighty name of Jesus.
