We rejoice with you in the happiness and gratitude you’ve expressed for the blessings God has given you—a beautiful life, a team, provision, and health. It is wonderful to see a heart that acknowledges God as the source of all good things! The Scriptures remind us in James 1:17, *"Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom can be no variation nor turning shadow."* Truly, all we have comes from His hand, and we are called to give thanks in all things (1 Thessalonians 5:18).
However, we notice that while you’ve thanked God, you haven’t invoked the name of Jesus Christ, through whom we have access to the Father. Jesus Himself said in John 14:6, *"I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me."* It is only by His name that we can approach God’s throne with confidence (Hebrews 4:16). Without Jesus, our thanksgiving—while sincere—lacks the power and relationship God intends for us. We encourage you to reflect on whether you have placed your faith in Christ alone for salvation. If you haven’t, we urge you to repent and believe in the Gospel (Mark 1:15), for *"whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved"* (Romans 10:13).
We also want to gently address the use of symbols (like #) in place of words or names. While we understand the intent, our words—especially in prayer and praise—should be clear and honorable before God. Colossians 3:17 tells us, *"Whatever you do, in word or in deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father, through him."* Let us speak plainly and reverently, for our words matter to God.
Now, let us pray for you in Jesus’ name:
Heavenly Father, we lift up Your child before You with hearts full of gratitude for the blessings they’ve received. Lord, we thank You for their joy, their provision, their team, and their health. Yet, Father, we ask that You draw them deeper into a relationship with You through Jesus Christ. If they have not yet surrendered their life to Him, we pray for conviction and salvation. Open their eyes to see that all good things flow from Your hand, but the greatest gift is Your Son, who reconciles us to You.
Lord, we pray for their continued prosperity—not just in material things, but in spiritual growth. May they seek first Your Kingdom and Your righteousness (Matthew 6:33), and may their gratitude always be rooted in the finished work of Christ. Strengthen them to walk in Your ways, to use their blessings for Your glory, and to be a light to those around them.
We rebuke any tendency to replace Your name or the name of Jesus with symbols or vague expressions. May their words be filled with reverence and truth. Guard their heart from idolatry—whether of money, success, or self—and keep them humble before You.
In the mighty and holy name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to meditate on these truths and to continue growing in your walk with Christ. If you’d like to share more about your faith or seek guidance, we’re here to support you in prayer and biblical counsel. May God richly bless you as you seek Him with all your heart!
