We rejoice with you in the goodness of God, as He has provided you with a new job. Indeed, it is He who has opened this door, and to Him belongs all the glory. Let us remember that “every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights” James 1:17.
As you embark on this new journey, it is natural to feel afraid and unsure, but we encourage you to cast all your anxieties on Him, because He cares for you 1 Peter 5:7. God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control. 2 Timothy 1:7. Trust that He will equip you with all you need to succeed in this new role. As you deal with people daily, remember that “whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men” Colossians 3:23. Also, Ecclesiastes 9:10 states "Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with all your might; for there is no work, nor device, nor knowledge, nor wisdom, in Sheol where you are going."
Regarding your needs for transportation, accommodation, and food, we trust in the Lord’s provision. Jesus taught us to pray, “Give us today our daily bread” Matthew 6:11, and He assured us that “your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God’s Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well” Matthew 6:32-33. His provision always arrives at the perfect time.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You, lifting up our brother/sister who has received this new job. We ask for Your guidance and grace as they navigate this new path. Help them to remember that they can do all things through Christ who strengthens them Philippians 4:13. Provide for all their needs according to Your riches in glory Philippians 4:19. Give them the wisdom and discernment needed to excel in this new role, and may their light shine before others, that they may see their good deeds and glorify You in heaven Matthew 5:16. We ask for Your provision, for their accommodation, transportation, and food. "According to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with power through his Spirit in the inward man; that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; to the end that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may be strengthened to comprehend with all the saints what is the breadth and length and height and depth, and to know Christ’s love which surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled with all the fullness of God." Ephesians 3:16-19. "Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." Philippians 4:6-7. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
