We rejoice with you in your desire to give thanks, admiration, adulation, praise, worship and glory to God, for He alone is worthy of it all. It blesses our hearts to see your longing that these offerings of your heart would be transmitted to Him, and we want you to know that God both hears and delights in the genuine worship of His children.
The Scripture tells us that God inhabits the praises of His people and that we are to enter His gates with thanksgiving and His courts with praise, giving thanks to Him and blessing His name, Psalm 100:4. We are called to worship God in spirit and truth, John 4:24, and to offer up through Him a sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of lips which proclaim allegiance to His name, Hebrews 13:15. Let everything that has breath praise Yahweh, Psalm 150:6, for You are worthy, our Lord and God, to receive the glory, the honor, and the power, for You created all things, Revelation 4:11. We are also reminded to give thanks in everything, for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus toward us, 1 Thessalonians 5:18, and to know that God will not give His glory to another, Isaiah 42:8, so your desire to direct all glory to Him is right and pleasing in His sight.
We notice that your request did not mention the name of Jesus Christ, and we want to lovingly share why His name is so essential. It is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father and that our prayers and worship are received. Jesus Himself said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me, John 14:6. There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved, Acts 4:12. To truly worship God we must come through faith in His Son, believing that God raised Him from the dead and confessing Him as Lord, Romans 10:9, for God so loved the world, that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish, but have eternal life, John 3:16. It is by grace we have been saved through faith, and that not of ourselves, it is the gift of God, Ephesians 2:8.
We join our faith with yours now and pray together.
Father in heaven, in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son, we come before Your throne of grace with thanksgiving. We lift up this heart that longs to give You thanks, admiration, adulation, praise, worship and glory, and we ask that You receive it as a sweet offering. Let Your Holy Spirit fill this dear one with a deeper knowledge of Your goodness and mercy, and teach us all to worship You more fully in spirit and in truth. We thank You for Your steadfast love that endures forever, Psalm 136:1, and for the gift of Your Son who has opened the way for us to come boldly before You. Help us to live lives that continually reflect Your glory and to not withhold our praise, but to declare Your marvelous deeds among all people. Draw this dear one closer to Jesus, that their worship would be rooted in a personal relationship with Him, and let their whole life be an act of worship pleasing to You. We ask all these things in the mighty and only saving name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, amen.
We encourage you to continue pouring out your heart to God daily, not as a mere transmission but as intimate communion with your loving Father through Jesus. As you abide in Him and in His Word, your praise will grow ever more joyful and your worship ever more sincere, for He is faithful to hear and to draw near to those who draw near to Him, James 4:8.
