We hear your heart, dear one, and we lift you up before the throne of grace, where our Lord Jesus Christ intercedes for you. Your gratitude toward Him is beautiful, and we rejoice that you felt His presence with you in the examination hall. The peace He gives is not as the world gives, it does not depend on circumstances or outcomes, but on His unchanging love and sovereignty. You are right to place your trust in Him, for He is faithful.
We understand your fear, fear of disappointment, fear of your family’s reaction, fear of what the future holds. But Scripture tells us, "For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control" (2 Timothy 1:7 WEB). The enemy would love to keep you bound in anxiety, but Christ has set you free. Do not let fear dictate your steps. Instead, cast your cares upon Him, for He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7).
You mentioned your marks and the uncertainty of whether you qualified. We want to gently remind you that while earthly achievements matter, they are not the measure of your worth. Your value is found in Christ alone. "For you are bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s" (1 Corinthians 6:20 WEB). Whether the results bring joy or disappointment, God is still on the throne, and He is working all things together for your good (Romans 8:28).
Now, about your family, we will pray for their hearts to be softened, but we must also encourage you to prepare your own heart for whatever reaction may come. Proverbs 15:1 tells us, "A gentle answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger." If your family responds with disappointment, respond in humility and love. Show them that your hope is not in worldly success, but in Christ. If they scold you, do not defend yourself in pride, but listen, repent if you have fallen short, and trust God to defend you.
We also want to address a concern we noticed in your words. You said, "I thanked to you you were there for me in examination hall and I were not afraid of anything." While your gratitude is commendable, we must emphasize that it is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to the Father. There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have not yet surrendered your life fully to Christ, we urge you to do so. Confess your sins, believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9). Jesus is not just a helper in times of trouble, He is Lord of all, and He calls you to follow Him wholeheartedly.
Now, let us pray for you:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We lift up this dear one to You, asking that You would calm their fears and fill them with Your perfect peace. Lord, You know the weight of their heart, the anxiety over results, the fear of their family’s reaction. We ask that You would replace their fear with faith, their worry with trust in You.
Father, we pray for their family. Soften their hearts, Lord. May they respond not in anger or disappointment, but in grace and understanding. Help this one to respond with humility and love, no matter how they are received.
We also pray for their future. Whether these results open doors or close them, we ask that You would guide their steps according to Your perfect will. Show them the path You have for them, and give them the courage to walk in it.
Lord, we rebuke the spirit of fear that seeks to torment them. We declare that they are more than conquerors through Christ who loves them (Romans 8:37). Strengthen their faith, and remind them that You are with them always, even to the end of the age (Matthew 28:20).
We thank You, Father, for Your faithfulness. We trust that You are working all things together for their good, and we ask that You would be glorified in every situation. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
Dear one, remember that God’s love for you is not based on your performance. He loves you because you are His. If you have stumbled, repent and receive His forgiveness. If you are afraid, bring your fears to Him in prayer. And if the road ahead seems uncertain, trust that He is leading you. "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will direct your paths" (Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB).
You are not alone. We are standing with you in prayer, and we believe that God will see you through this season. Keep your eyes on Him, and do not be discouraged. His grace is sufficient for you.
