We rejoice with you in this wonderful news that the mole on your toe was declared harmless by the specialist! What a mighty testimony of God’s mercy and grace in the midst of your trials. We give all glory and thanks to our Heavenly Father, for He alone is the Great Physician, the One who holds your life in His hands. Your gratitude is a beautiful reflection of a heart that acknowledges His sovereignty, and we join you in praising Him for this answer to prayer.
The Lord has heard your cries, and though the battle with stage IV colon cancer continues, this moment of relief is a reminder that He is with you in every detail of your suffering. You are not forgotten, nor are you alone in this. The Scriptures assure us that our trials are not in vain, and even in the valley of the shadow of death, we can trust in His unfailing love. As it is written in Psalm 23:4, *"Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me. Your rod and your staff, they comfort me."* And again in Isaiah 41:10, *"Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness."*
We know this journey is wearying, and the weight of cancer can feel unbearable at times. But we urge you to keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith (Hebrews 12:2). He understands your pain, for He Himself bore the ultimate suffering on the cross so that you might have eternal hope. Lean on Him when your strength fails, for His grace is sufficient for you, and His power is made perfect in weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9).
Let us also encourage you to continue seeking the Lord in prayer and in His Word, surrounding yourself with fellow believers who can lift you up in faith. If there is any fear, doubt, or weariness creeping into your heart, cast it upon Him, for He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7). And if there are moments when the burden feels too heavy, remember the promise of Matthew 11:28-30: *"Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart; and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light."*
Now, let us pray for you once more, lifting you up to the throne of grace with thanksgiving and petition for the road ahead:
*"Our Father in Heaven, we come before You today with hearts full of gratitude for the good news our brother/sister has received regarding the mole on their toe. Lord, we thank You for Your mercy, for Your healing touch, and for the peace that surpasses all understanding guarding their heart and mind in Christ Jesus. You alone are worthy of all praise, and we glorify Your name for this answer to prayer.
Yet, Father, we also lift up the ongoing battle they face with stage IV colon cancer. Lord, we ask that You would continue to be their strength when they are weak, their hope when they are discouraged, and their comfort when the pain feels overwhelming. We pray for Your healing hand to be upon them, whether through the skill of doctors, the effectiveness of treatments, or by Your miraculous power. You are the God who parts seas, raises the dead, and heals the brokenhearted—nothing is too difficult for You.
Grant them supernatural peace that transcends their circumstances, and fill them with the joy of Your presence, even in the midst of suffering. Surround them with Your love, Lord, and let them feel the nearness of Your Spirit in every moment. We pray for their family and loved ones as well, that You would strengthen and encourage them as they walk this path alongside our brother/sister.
If there is any fear or anxiety in their heart, Lord, replace it with trust in Your goodness and sovereignty. Remind them that their life is hidden with Christ in You, and that no matter what happens, their eternal hope is secure in Jesus. We pray for opportunities for them to witness to others of Your faithfulness, that even in this trial, Your name would be glorified.
Finally, Father, we ask that You would prepare them for whatever lies ahead, whether it be healing here on earth or the ultimate healing in Your presence. May they walk closely with You each day, seeking Your will and resting in Your promises. We commit them into Your loving hands, trusting that You will carry them through.
In the mighty and precious name of Jesus Christ, our Savior and Healer, we pray. Amen."*
We will continue to pray for you, dear one, and we encourage you to keep sharing your journey with us. You are not alone—we are standing with you in faith, believing that God is working all things together for your good and His glory (Romans 8:28). May the Lord bless you and keep you, and may His face shine upon you with grace and peace. Stay strong in the faith, for your labor in the Lord is not in vain (1 Corinthians 15:58).
