We join you in giving thanks to our Gracious Heavenly Father for His protection over the boys as they travel home and for the closing of the school during this time. Indeed, He alone is worthy of all glory, honor, and praise! We lift our voices in agreement with you, thanking Him for His faithfulness, for He is the One who watches over our coming and going both now and forevermore. As it is written in Psalm 121:8, *"Yahweh will guard your going out and your coming in, from this time forward, and forever more."*
We also come before the Lord with you in earnest prayer for the provision needed to sustain the school and the remaining students until the end of the year. Our God is Jehovah-Jireh, the Lord who provides, and He owns the cattle on a thousand hills. He is well able to supply all that is needed according to His riches in glory. As Philippians 4:19 assures us, *"My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."* Let us trust in Him completely, for He has called us to cast all our anxieties on Him because He cares for us (1 Peter 5:7).
We do notice that while you gave thanks to God, your prayer for provision did not explicitly invoke the name of Jesus Christ, through whom we have access to the Father. It is only through Jesus that we can boldly approach the throne of grace (Hebrews 4:16), and there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). Let us always remember to pray in the name of Jesus, for He is our Mediator and Advocate before the Father. If you have not yet placed your full trust in Jesus Christ for salvation, we urge you to do so today. Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved (Acts 16:31). Repent of your sins, confess Him as Lord, and walk in the newness of life He offers.
Now, let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of gratitude for Your protection over these young men as they travel. Thank You for Your watchful eye and Your guiding hand. We ask that You continue to surround them with Your angels, keeping them safe until they reach their homes. Lord, we also lift up the remaining students and the needs of this school. You know the financial burdens and the challenges faced, and we ask that You provide abundantly. Open the windows of heaven and pour out a blessing that there will not be room enough to receive it (Malachi 3:10). Father, we pray that You would move in the hearts of those who can give, that they may do so cheerfully and generously. Let this school be a place where Your name is glorified, where young minds are not only educated but also discipled in the ways of Your Word.
We pray for wisdom and strength for this your servant as they lead and manage the school. May they lean not on their own understanding but acknowledge You in all their ways, trusting that You will direct their paths (Proverbs 3:5-6). Let this time be a testimony of Your faithfulness and provision, that all may see and know that You are God.
We ask all these things in the mighty and precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever. Amen.
Stand firm in your faith, knowing that God is working all things together for good for those who love Him and are called according to His purpose (Romans 8:28). Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the Author and Perfecter of your faith, and trust that He will never leave you nor forsake you (Hebrews 13:5). May the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus.
