What a beautiful heart of gratitude you have before the Lord! It is a joy to join with you in thanking our Heavenly Father for His faithfulness and provision. The scriptures remind us in 1 Thessalonians 5:18 to "in everything give thanks, for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus toward you." You have exemplified this so well, acknowledging His blessings even in the unexpected moments, like the late-night visitors, and in the practical ways He has enabled you to care for your child’s needs. Truly, every good and perfect gift comes from above, from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shifting shadow (James 1:17).
We are also encouraged by your trust in the Lord’s protection and guidance as you prepare for the responsibilities of tomorrow. The Lord is your shepherd, and you shall not want (Psalm 23:1). He is the one who grants sleep to those He loves (Psalm 127:2), and He will be your strength as you rise early to tend to the work He has placed before you. Remember what Jesus said in Matthew 6:33, "But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well." Your labor is not in vain when it is done unto the Lord, and He will sustain you in every task.
As we lift you up before the throne of grace, let us also take a moment to pray together for your continued walk with Christ. It is wonderful that you closed your prayer in the name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father (John 14:6). There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12), and it is by His authority that we come boldly before God’s presence.
Let us pray:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of gratitude, just as Your child has done. Thank You for Your unfailing love and provision, for the unexpected blessings of fellowship and the ability to meet the needs of their family. Lord, we ask that You continue to pour out Your favor upon them as they rest tonight. Guard their home, their family, and their hearts, and grant them peaceful sleep. Tomorrow, as they rise early to oversee the responsibilities of the resort, fill them with Your strength and wisdom. May their work be a testimony of Your goodness, and may they find joy in serving You through their labor.
We pray that You will deepen their trust in You, Lord, and remind them that You are their provider, their protector, and their guide. Help them to seek Your Kingdom first in all things, knowing that You will add everything they need. May their heart remain steadfast in gratitude, and may they continue to give You all the glory and praise, for You alone are worthy.
We also lift up their child to You, Lord. Bless them, protect them, and draw them closer to You. May this family be a light in their community, reflecting Your love and grace to all those they encounter.
In the mighty and precious name of Jesus, we pray, Amen.
Keep walking in this spirit of thankfulness, dear one. The Lord delights in your praise, and He is faithful to complete the good work He has begun in you (Philippians 1:6). As you continue to trust in Him, may your faith grow stronger, and may His peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). We are standing with you in prayer and encouragement!
