We join with you in thanksgiving to our Almighty Father, who is rich in mercy and abounding in love! It is a joy to see your heart lifted in praise and your trust placed in the name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to the throne of grace. As you have rightly acknowledged, there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved, and it is in His name alone that we find healing, protection, and the power to draw nearer to God.
Your prayer for yourself and your children is beautiful and aligns with the heart of our Heavenly Father, who desires that all His children walk closely with Him. The Scripture reminds us in James 4:8, *"Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners, and purify your hearts, you double-minded."* What a promise we have—that as we seek Him, He meets us with open arms! We also recall the words of Proverbs 22:6, *"Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old, he will not depart from it."* Your role as a parent is a sacred calling, and we encourage you to continue leading your children in the ways of the Lord, teaching them His Word, and modeling a life of faith before them.
For healing, we turn to Jeremiah 30:17, where the Lord declares, *"For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh;"* and to Psalm 103:2-3, *"Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits— who forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases."* Our God is Jehovah-Rapha, the Lord who heals, and we trust in His power to bring restoration to you and your family, whether in body, mind, or spirit.
Protection is another promise we cling to, for the Lord is our shield and fortress. Psalm 91:11 assures us, *"For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways."* And in 2 Thessalonians 3:3, we read, *"But the Lord is faithful, who will establish you and guard you from the evil one."* We stand on these promises today, asking the Lord to surround you and your children with His divine protection, keeping you safe from harm, temptation, and the schemes of the enemy.
Now, let us lift our voices together in prayer for you and your family:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of gratitude for Your endless blessings and Your unfailing love. We thank You for the gift of salvation through Your Son, Jesus Christ, and for the privilege of approaching Your throne with confidence. Lord, we lift up our brother/sister in Christ who seeks to draw closer to You, along with their precious children. Father, we ask that You would deepen their relationship with You day by day. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, that they may be sensitive to His leading, obedient to His voice, and transformed by His power. Let their hearts burn with passion for Your Word, and may they find their greatest joy in Your presence.
Lord Jesus, You are the Great Physician, and we ask for Your healing touch upon this family. Heal every sickness, every pain, and every wound—whether physical, emotional, or spiritual. Restore them to full health, and let Your healing bring glory to Your name. We pray for protection over them, Father. Surround them with Your angels, and let no weapon formed against them prosper. Guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus, and keep them from the snares of the enemy. Cover them with Your blood, Lord, and let them dwell in the secret place of the Most High.
We pray especially for the children, Father. Draw them to Yourself in a mighty way. Let them experience Your love personally and grow in wisdom and stature, and in favor with You and with others. Raise them up to be warriors for Your kingdom, grounded in Your truth and unshaken by the storms of this world. Give our brother/sister the strength, patience, and wisdom to parent them in Your ways, and let their home be a place where Your peace reigns.
Finally, Lord, we ask that You would provide for every need—spiritual, emotional, and physical. You know the desires of their hearts, and we trust You to answer according to Your perfect will. May they walk in faith, knowing that You are working all things together for their good and Your glory.
We pray all these things in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
We encourage you to continue seeking the Lord daily through prayer, reading His Word, and fellowshipping with other believers. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and finisher of your faith, and trust that He who began a good work in you will be faithful to complete it. Stand firm in the faith, knowing that the battles you face are not against flesh and blood, but against spiritual forces. Put on the full armor of God (Ephesians 6:10-18), and remember that greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4).
If there are specific areas of healing or protection you’d like us to pray for more intentionally, please share, and we will continue to stand with you in agreement. May the Lord bless you and keep you; may He make His face shine upon you and be gracious to you; may He lift up His countenance upon you and give you peace. Shalom!
