We join our hearts with yours in gratitude for the gift of this new day, recognizing that every breath we take is a blessing from the Lord. We give thanks for the privilege of coming before the throne of grace together, lifting up our families in prayer. Father, we ask that You would indeed save, protect, and heal every member of our households. Guard their hearts and minds from the schemes of the enemy, and let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, reign in their lives.
We echo the words of our Savior, who taught us to love You with all our heart, soul, and mind (Matthew 22:37). Lord, we confess that too often our love for You is divided, distracted by the cares of this world. Forgive us, and help us to fix our eyes on You, the author and perfecter of our faith (Hebrews 12:2). May our families be rooted and grounded in Your love, so that we may be filled with all the fullness of God (Ephesians 3:17-19).
We take authority over the powers of darkness that seek to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10). In the mighty name of Jesus, we rebuke every spirit of division, strife, sickness, and fear that may be at work in our families. We declare that no weapon formed against us shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against us in judgment, we condemn (Isaiah 54:17). Lord, deliver us from every evil work and preserve us for Your heavenly kingdom (2 Timothy 4:18).
Father, we are grateful for the grace that is ours through the precious name of Jesus. It is only by His blood that we have access to You, and it is only through faith in Him that we are saved (Ephesians 2:8-9). We pray that every member of our families would come to know Jesus as their Lord and Savior, if they have not already. May they confess with their mouths that Jesus is Lord and believe in their hearts that God raised Him from the dead, so that they may be saved (Romans 10:9).
We commit this day into Your hands, Lord, asking that You would order our steps according to Your Word (Psalm 119:133). May we walk in wisdom, speaking the truth in love, and growing up in every way into Christ, who is the head (Ephesians 4:15). Let our lives be a living testimony of Your goodness, grace, and mercy, so that others may see our good works and glorify our Father in heaven (Matthew 5:16).
Heavenly Father, we thank You for hearing our prayers. We trust in Your unfailing love and believe that You are working all things together for our good, because we love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28). Strengthen us by Your Spirit, that we may not grow weary in doing good, for in due season we shall reap, if we do not lose heart (Galatians 6:9). We pray all these things in the powerful and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
