What a beautiful and powerful outpouring of praise, gratitude, and faith in our Lord Jesus Christ! We join you in lifting up these thanksgivings and petitions, for we know that our God delights in the praises of His people and hears the cries of those who trust in Him. Your heart is clearly fixed on Christ, and we rejoice with you in the mighty works He has done, is doing, and will continue to do in your life. The Lord is indeed your habitation, your dwelling place, and your ever-present help in times of need. As it is written in Psalm 91, which you have so beautifully claimed:
*"He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of Yahweh, ‘He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in whom I trust.’ For he will deliver you from the snare of the fowler, and from the deadly pestilence. He will cover you with his feathers. Under his wings you will take refuge. His faithfulness is your shield and rampart. You shall not be afraid of the terror by night, nor of the arrow that flies by day; nor of the pestilence that walks in darkness, nor of the destruction that wastes at noonday. A thousand may fall at your side, and ten thousand at your right hand; but it will not come near you. You will only look with your eyes, and see the recompense of the wicked. Because you have made Yahweh your refuge, and the Most High your dwelling place, no evil shall happen to you, neither shall any plague come near your dwelling. For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways. They will bear you up in their hands, so that you won’t dash your foot against a stone. You will tread on the lion and cobra. You will trample the young lion and the serpent underfoot. Because he has set his love on me, therefore I will deliver him. I will set him on high, because he has known my name. He will call on me, and I will answer him. I will be with him in trouble. I will deliver him, and honor him. I will satisfy him with long life, and show him my salvation."* —Psalm 91:1-16 (WEB)
We are especially encouraged by your faith in claiming the promises of God over your life, your marriage, your home, and even your descendants. It is a powerful thing to stand on the Word of God and declare His truth over every area of our lives. Your gratitude for the wife the Lord has blessed you with is a testament to the covenant of marriage, which is a sacred reflection of Christ’s love for His Church. We pray that the Lord continues to strengthen your marriage, binding you both together in unity, love, and faith. May you both always return to the Lord first and then to one another, as iron sharpens iron, and may your home be a place of peace, protection, and godly legacy for generations to come.
*"Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the assembly, and gave himself up for it... For this cause a man will leave his father and mother, and will be joined to his wife. The two will become one flesh. This mystery is great, but I speak concerning Christ and of the assembly."* —Ephesians 5:25, 31-32 (WEB)
We also lift up your requests concerning your home, your garage, your finances, and your health. The Lord is faithful to provide for all our needs according to His riches in glory, and we trust Him to move mightily on your behalf. Your faith in claiming protection over your property, favor in your dealings, and provision for every need is a reminder that our God is not just a God of the spiritual but also the practical. He cares about every detail of our lives, and we can cast all our anxieties on Him because He cares for us (1 Peter 5:7).
*"But seek first God’s Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."* —Matthew 6:33 (WEB)
*"Don’t be anxious for anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."* —Philippians 4:6-7 (WEB)
As you have so boldly declared, we agree with you that no weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against you in judgment, you shall condemn. The Lord is your shield and your exceeding great reward. We also pray for the salvation of your family—your children, grandchildren, and their spouses—that they may all come to know the Lord Jesus Christ as their personal Savior and walk in His ways. May the Lord draw them to Himself and establish a godly heritage that lasts for generations.
*"Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved—you and your household."* —Acts 16:31 (WEB)
*"The salvation of the righteous is from Yahweh, their stronghold in the time of trouble. Yahweh helps them, and rescues them. He rescues them from the wicked, and saves them, because they have taken refuge in him."* —Psalm 37:39-40 (WEB)
We also want to take a moment to highlight the beauty of your prayer being offered in the name of Jesus. There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved, and it is only through Christ that we have access to the Father. Your prayer is a powerful example of what it means to approach the throne of grace with confidence, knowing that Jesus is our High Priest who intercedes for us.
*"Jesus said to him, ‘I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me."* —John 14:6 (WEB)
*"In that day you will ask in my name; and I don’t say to you, that I will pray to the Father for you, for the Father himself loves you, because you have loved me, and have believed that I came from God."* —John 16:26-27 (WEB)
Now, let us pray together over these things:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of gratitude and praise for all that You are and all that You have done. Lord Jesus, we thank You for being the habitation and dwelling place of our brother in Christ. We declare that no sickness, no evil, no plague, and no virus shall come near him or his household, for You, Lord, are his refuge and fortress. We thank You for the hedge of protection around him, his wife, their home, and all that You have entrusted to them. We pray for the garage door to be repaired swiftly and without hindrance, and we thank You in advance for Your provision and favor in this matter.
Lord, we lift up his marriage and ask that You continue to bind him and his wife together in love, unity, and faith. Protect their marriage from any scheme of the enemy, and may they always return to You first and to one another in love and forgiveness. May their home be a place of peace, joy, and godly influence, and may their love for one another reflect Your love for the Church.
Father, we pray for his VA disability rating to be increased according to Your will, and we ask for favor with those who have authority over these matters. Provide for every financial need, Lord, and cause every debt to be canceled or paid in full by Your divine intervention. We pray for favor in all dealings, especially with the city and any other entities, that justice and compensation would be granted as You see fit.
We thank You for the salvation of his household—his children, grandchildren, and their spouses. Draw them to Yourself, Lord, and let them experience the depth of Your love and the power of Your salvation. May they all walk in Your ways and carry on a legacy of faith for generations to come.
Lord, we also pray for the weather to be stilled and for protection over their property, trees, and home. Let no storm or natural disaster harm what You have entrusted to them. We pray for wisdom in all things, for protection from all seen and unseen dangers, and for Your angels to encamp around them.
Father, we thank You for the incredible miracles You have already done and for those yet to come. We praise You for Your forgiveness, Your healing, and Your provision. May our brother continue to walk in the peace that surpasses all understanding, and may he always find his strength and refuge in You.
Finally, Lord, we ask that You continue to reveal Yourself to him in ever-greater ways. Let him know You more deeply, love You more fully, and serve You more faithfully. May his life be a testament to Your goodness, and may he continue to declare Your praises all his days.
We pray all these things in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen! Glory to You, Lord Jesus! Hallelujah!
