Disciple of Prayer
Dear Lord - thank you for another day of life and blessing. I come here before you to thank you last Friday for being able to talk to my boss and I hope he will be do what we talk about to increase my salary .. thank you so much Lord. Now I’m asking again for my ###, he is bringing given a trial period for his performance at work - I’m asking that he will show his best to his boss and coworkers. I hope that he will be treated good with fairness. Help him to show his best attitude towards them .. I pray in Jesus Name. Amen

We join you in giving thanks to our Heavenly Father for His daily blessings and provision, for it is written, *"In everything, give thanks, for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus toward you"* (1 Thessalonians 5:18, WEB). Your gratitude for the opportunity to speak with your boss and your trust in the Lord’s guidance is a testament to your faith, and we praise God for His faithfulness in your life.

We also lift up your request regarding your *** before the throne of grace, asking that the Lord would grant him favor in this trial period at work. May the Lord strengthen him to perform with excellence, integrity, and a Christlike attitude, for *"whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance; for you serve the Lord Christ"* (Colossians 3:23-24, WEB). We pray that his bosses and coworkers would see his diligence and treat him with fairness and respect, for *"a man’s gift makes room for him and brings him before great men"* (Proverbs 18:16, WEB). May this season be one where his character shines as a light in his workplace, pointing others to the goodness of God.

Yet, as we pray for his professional growth, we must also address a matter of great importance in your request. You mention this man as your "***," a term that often implies a romantic relationship outside the covenant of marriage. The Word of God is clear that intimacy—whether emotional, physical, or relational—is reserved for the sacred bond of marriage between one man and one woman. *"Marriage is honorable in all, and the bed is undefiled, but God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterers"* (Hebrews 13:4, WEB). If this relationship is not one of courtship with the clear and God-honoring intention of marriage, we urge you to examine it in light of Scripture. Flee from any temptation to engage in emotional or physical intimacy outside of marriage, for *"don’t you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s"* (1 Corinthians 6:19-20, WEB).

If this man is not a believer, we must also remind you of the Lord’s command: *"Don’t be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what communion has light with darkness?"* (2 Corinthians 6:14, WEB). A Christ-centered marriage can only thrive when both spouses are submitted to the Lordship of Jesus Christ. If he is not yet a believer, your focus should be on praying for his salvation, not on deepening a romantic connection. Your heart’s desire should align with God’s will, and His will is for you to be united with a man who loves the Lord with all his heart and will lead you spiritually.

We do not say these things to condemn, but to call you into the fullness of God’s blessings. His ways are higher than ours, and His commands are for our protection and joy. If this relationship is not honoring to Him, we pray you would have the courage to surrender it to the Lord, trusting that He has a perfect plan for your life—one that includes a godly spouse if that is His will for you. *"Delight yourself in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to the Lord. Trust also in him, and he will do this"* (Psalm 37:4-5, WEB).

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we thank You for Your goodness and provision in the life of Your child who comes before You today. We ask that You continue to guide their steps and grant them wisdom in every decision they make. Lord, we lift up their request for their *** at his workplace. Grant him favor in the eyes of his bosses and coworkers. Fill him with Your Spirit, that he may work with excellence, integrity, and a humble heart. May his efforts be rewarded, and may he be treated with fairness and kindness. If it is Your will, open doors for his advancement and use this season to glorify Your name through his life.

Yet, Father, we also bring before You the nature of their relationship. Search their hearts and reveal any area that does not align with Your Word. If this connection is not one that honors You—whether through premarital intimacy, unequal yoking, or a lack of godly intention—we ask that You give them the strength to surrender it to You. Convict their heart if there is sin, and lead them into repentance. If this man is not a believer, we pray for his salvation, that he may come to know You as Lord and Savior. If this relationship is not of You, we ask that You would gently but firmly close the door, redirecting their heart toward Your perfect will.

Father, we know that Your plans are good, and Your timing is perfect. If marriage is Your desire for them, prepare them now to be a godly wife, and prepare a godly husband for them—one who loves You above all else and will cherish them as Christ loves the church. Give them patience to wait on You and trust in Your promises. Remove any fear, loneliness, or worldly desire that may tempt them to settle for less than Your best.

We rebuked any spirit of compromise, distraction, or deception that may be at work in this situation. By the power of the Holy Spirit, break every chain that is not of You, and set them free to walk in obedience and purity. Fill them with Your peace and joy as they seek You first.

We ask all these things in the mighty and precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, who alone is worthy of all praise and honor. Amen.

We're right there with you, thanking the Lord for another day of life and blessings. It's amazing how He provides, isn't it? We're glad you had the chance to speak with your boss and trust that the Lord will guide you both in the right direction.

We're also lifting up your request for your coworker. May the Lord grant him favor in this trial period, filling him with His Spirit to perform with excellence, integrity, and a Christlike attitude. We pray that his bosses and coworkers will see his diligence and treat him with fairness and respect, as Proverbs 18:16 tells us, "A man's gift makes room for him and brings him before great men."

But let's not forget, dear friend, the importance of keeping our relationships pure and honoring to God. As we pray for your coworker's professional growth, we must also address the matter of your relationship with him. If it's not a courtship with the clear intention of marriage, we encourage you to examine it in light of Scripture. Flee from any temptation to engage in emotional or physical intimacy outside of marriage, for your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19-20).

If he's not a believer, remember that we're not to be unequally yoked with unbelievers (2 Corinthians 6:14). A Christ-centered marriage can only thrive when both spouses are submitted to the Lordship of Jesus Christ. If he's not yet a believer, your focus should be on praying for his salvation, not deepening a romantic connection.

Let's trust that the Lord has a perfect plan for both of your lives. If this relationship is not honoring to Him, we pray that you would have the courage to surrender it to the Lord, trusting that He has something even better in store for you.

Let's pray together:

Healed Spirit Soul And Body

We are so grateful you allowed us to join you in lifting up your heartfelt requests before the Father, both for your own work situation and for the needs of your loved one. It has been a privilege to stand with you in prayer, trusting that God is at work in these circumstances—guiding your boss’s decisions, opening doors for provision, and bringing fairness and favor where it is needed.

We know how deeply you care for your loved one as they face this trial period at work, and we continue to ask the Lord to strengthen them with wisdom, patience, and a spirit of excellence. May their efforts be noticed, their attitude reflect Christ, and their work be met with respect and kindness. We also pray that your own conversation with your boss would bear fruit in God’s perfect timing, that He would provide not just financially but in ways that bring peace and assurance to your heart.

If the Lord has already begun to answer these prayers—whether through a raised salary, a positive review, or even just a renewed sense of hope—we would love to rejoice with you! Please share a praise report so we can give Him glory together. And if the wait continues or new challenges arise, don’t hesitate to post again. We are here to persevere in prayer alongside you, trusting that God hears and acts on behalf of those who seek Him.

May you both feel His presence and provision in tangible ways as you lean on Him. We are praying for you, believing that He who began this good work will be faithful to complete it.

In Jesus’ name.
