We join with you in lifting up your godson before the Lord, standing in agreement for his protection, strength, and deliverance from the spiritual and physical battles he faces in that facility. Your heart for him is evident, and we commend you for interceding so fervently on his behalf. It is powerful when we pray in the name of Jesus, for it is written, *"I will do whatever you ask in my name, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask me anything in my name, I will do it"* (John 14:13-14, WEB). You have rightly come before the throne of grace in the name above all names, and we stand with you in this.

The environment your godson is in is one of darkness, where the enemy seeks to stir up strife, fear, and rebellion. But we know that *"the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but mighty before God to the throwing down of strongholds"* (2 Corinthians 10:4, WEB). We bind the schemes of the enemy in that place—whether through the bully who seeks to dominate, the influences that lead others astray, or the bitterness and confusion that take root in hearts hardened by sin. The Lord is not unaware of what is happening; He sees the oppression and the struggles, and He is mighty to save. Let us declare together that *"no weapon that is formed against you will prevail; and you will condemn every tongue that rises against you in judgment. This is the heritage of Yahweh’s servants, and their righteousness is from me,” says Yahweh* (Isaiah 54:17, WEB). Your godson is covered by the blood of Jesus, and we plead that blood over him now, that every plan of the enemy would be dismantled and rendered powerless.

We also pray for the hearts of those in authority over that facility—guards, wardens, and all who have influence—that the Lord would soften their hearts and give them wisdom to govern with justice and discernment. May they be instruments of God’s protection, even unknowingly, as they carry out their duties. *"The king’s heart is in Yahweh’s hand like the water courses. He turns it wherever he desires"* (Proverbs 21:1, WEB). Let the Lord turn their hearts toward what is right, that they may be a restraint against the chaos and violence that the enemy seeks to unleash.

For your godson specifically, we ask the Lord to fill him with a supernatural strength—a strength that does not come from his own resolve, but from the Holy Spirit who dwells within him if he has surrendered his life to Christ. If he has not yet made that decision, we pray that this season of trial would drive him to his knees, that he would cry out to Jesus as his Lord and Savior. There is no greater protection than being hidden in Christ. *"Yahweh is my rock, my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my rock, in whom I take refuge; my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my high tower"* (Psalm 18:2, WEB). May your godson find his refuge in the Lord alone, not in the fleeting alliances or worldly wisdom that so often fail in places like these.

We also pray for his mind, that the Lord would guard it against the lies of the enemy—lies that say he is defined by his past, that he is trapped, or that he must resort to the ways of the world to survive. *"Finally, brothers, whatever things are true, whatever things are honorable, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report; if there is any virtue and if there is any praise, think about these things"* (Philippians 4:8, WEB). Let the Lord renew his mind daily, that he would fix his thoughts on what is eternal, not what is temporary.

For the bully and those who seek to control through fear, we pray that the Lord would confront them in a way that only He can. Whether through conviction, removal, or a supernatural intervention, we ask that their influence would be broken. *"Let God arise! Let his enemies be scattered! Let them who hate him also flee before him!"* (Psalm 68:1, WEB). We do not pray for harm to come to them, but we pray that their plans would be thwarted, that they would be exposed, and that the Lord would either save them or silence them for the sake of those they seek to harm.

Lastly, we lift you up as you continue to stand in the gap for your godson. Intercessory prayer is a sacred calling, and we know it can be wearying at times. But be encouraged: *"The earnest prayer of a righteous person has great power and produces wonderful results"* (James 5:16, WEB). You are not laboring in vain. The Lord hears your cries, and He is moving even when we cannot see it. Keep praying, keep speaking life, and keep pointing your godson to Jesus, the author and finisher of his faith.

**Our prayer for you both:**
Heavenly Father, we come before You now in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this godson who is in the midst of a spiritual battle. Lord, You see the dangers that surround him—the bullying, the negative influences, the fear, and the confusion. We ask that You would be his shield and his exceeding great reward. Strengthen him, Lord, in his inner man. Fill him with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, that even in the midst of chaos, he would know that You are with him.

We bind the spirit of bullying and control in that facility. We break every assignment of the enemy against this young man’s life, his mind, and his future. Let every tongue that rises against him in judgment be condemned. Surround him with Your angels, Lord, and let them encamp around him (Psalm 34:7). If there are those in that place who know You, let them be a light to him—a testimony of Your transforming power.

For those in authority, give them wisdom and discernment. Let them govern with fairness and justice. Remove any who would exploit their position for evil, and raise up those who would be a restraint against the works of darkness.

Lord, we pray that if this young man does not know You, that this season would be the one where he surrenders his life to You. Let him see his need for a Savior, and let him call upon Your name. If he does know You, then strengthen his faith. Remind him that You are his deliverer, and that no scheme of the enemy can prevail against him when he is hidden in You.

We also lift up his family—those who love him and are praying for him. Comfort them, Lord. Give them hope and perseverance. Let them see Your hand at work in his life, even in the small things.

Lastly, Father, we pray for the salvation of those who are causing harm in that place. Soften their hearts, Lord. Let them encounter You in a way they cannot ignore. Break the chains of sin and rebellion in their lives, and let them become trophies of Your grace.

We thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayer. We trust in Your goodness and Your power. Let Your will be done in this situation, and let Your name be glorified. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
