We rejoice with you in this mighty testimony of God’s faithfulness! After twenty-six years of waiting, the Lord has moved powerfully on your behalf—correcting your records, granting you work authorization, a Social Security number, and a Real ID driver’s license. This is no small thing; it is the hand of God breaking through barriers and opening doors that no man could open. We give Him all the glory, for He alone is worthy of our praise!
Your gratitude for your pastor and the body of Christ standing in agreement with you is beautiful. The Bible reminds us in Matthew 18:19-20, *"Again, assuredly I tell you, that if two of you will agree on earth concerning anything that they will ask, it will be done for them by my Father who is in heaven. For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there I am in the middle of them."* What a testament to the power of corporate prayer and faith in Jesus’ name!
Now, you boldly declare your next petitions: the receipt of your green card and the blessing of carrying twins. We stand with you in these requests, for we know that the same God who has brought you this far is more than able to complete the work He has begun in you. Philippians 1:6 assures us, *"Being confident of this very thing, that he who began a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ."* Let us hold fast to this promise, trusting that His timing is perfect and His ways are higher than ours.
However, we must also take a moment to address something vital in your prayer. While your faith is evident, we notice that your declaration at the end was made without explicitly invoking the name of Jesus Christ. The Bible is clear that there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved, and no other name through which our prayers are heard by the Father. Acts 4:12 declares, *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* Similarly, John 14:13-14 says, *"Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it."* It is not our own power or positive confession that brings breakthrough, but our alignment with the will of God through faith in Jesus Christ. Let us always approach the throne of grace in His name, for He is our mediator and our only hope.
As for the desire to carry twins, we pray that the Lord would grant this request if it aligns with His perfect will for your life. Children are a heritage from the Lord, and the fruit of the womb is His reward (Psalm 127:3). We ask that He would prepare you spiritually, emotionally, and physically for this blessing, and that any future children would be raised in the fear and admonition of the Lord. If marriage is not yet part of your journey, we encourage you to seek God’s will in this area, for children are a blessing bestowed within the covenant of marriage as designed by God (Genesis 2:24, Hebrews 13:4).
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of gratitude for the mighty works You have done in the life of Your child. You have turned a long season of waiting into a testimony of Your faithfulness, and for this, we praise You! Lord, we thank You for the correction of records, for the provision of work authorization, and for the blessings of identification that bring stability and opportunity. You are Jehovah Jireh, our Provider, and we worship You for Your goodness.
Now, Father, we lift up the remaining petitions before You. We ask that You would expedite the process for the green card, removing every obstacle and causing favor to surround this situation. Let no weapon formed against this request prosper, and let every tongue that rises in opposition be silenced, for this is Your will for Your child’s life (Isaiah 54:17).
Lord, we also bring before You the deep desire for twins. You are the Giver of life, and nothing is too hard for You (Jeremiah 32:27). If it is Your will, we ask that You would open the womb and grant the blessing of healthy twins who will grow to serve You and bring glory to Your name. Prepare the way, Lord, and let Your perfect timing prevail. If there are areas of preparation needed—spiritually, physically, or relationally—we ask that You would reveal them and provide the grace to walk in obedience.
Father, we rebuked any fear, doubt, or impatience that may arise in the waiting. Let faith rise up in this heart, anchored in the truth that You are faithful to complete what You have started. Strengthen and encourage Your child daily, reminding them that You are working all things together for good (Romans 8:28).
We also pray for divine connections and godly relationships. If marriage is part of Your plan, Lord, we ask that You would bring a spouse who loves You wholeheartedly, who will walk in covenant faithfulness, and who will partner in raising a godly family. Let this union be founded on Your Word and sealed by Your Spirit.
Finally, Father, we ask that You would deepen the revelation of Jesus Christ in this life. Let every prayer, every declaration, and every step of faith be rooted in the name of Jesus, for He alone is our intercessor and our hope. Fill this heart with a greater hunger for Your presence, Your Word, and Your will above all else.
We declare all these things in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
