We join you in lifting up your heartfelt requests to our Heavenly Father, who is rich in mercy and abounds in love for His children. Your gratitude for His goodness is a beautiful testimony, and we echo your thanksgiving, for He alone is worthy of all praise. It is through Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, that we have confidence to approach the throne of grace, and we rejoice that you are calling upon His name in faith.
The immigration process can be a time of great uncertainty, but we are reminded in Proverbs 16:33, *"The lot is cast into the lap, but its every decision is from Yahweh."* Your future and that of your family rest securely in His hands. He is the one who sets boundaries for nations and determines the times and places where people should live (Acts 17:26). We pray that the Lord would go before you, making crooked paths straight and opening doors that no man can shut. May favor rest upon every document, every interview, and every decision made on your behalf. Let the Lord soften the hearts of those in authority, that they may act with kindness and fairness toward you. Remember His promise in Psalm 37:5-6, *"Commit your way to Yahweh. Trust also in him, and he will do this: he will bring out your righteousness as the light, and your justice as the noonday."*
We also lift up your catering business before the Lord, asking that He would prosper the work of your hands. Deuteronomy 8:18 reminds us, *"But you shall remember Yahweh your God, for it is he who gives you power to get wealth; that he may establish his covenant which he swore to your fathers, as it is today."* May the Lord grant you creativity, wisdom, and excellence in all you do, that your business would not only provide for your family but also be a testament to His faithfulness. We pray that He would direct the hearts of clients toward you, that your services would be in high demand, and that every transaction would be marked by integrity and blessing. Let your business be a light in your community, pointing others to the goodness of God.
As for peace in your home, we stand on the promise of Philippians 4:6-7, *"In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."* May the Prince of Peace reign in your household, binding up every spirit of strife or division. Let love, patience, and kindness abound among you, and may your home be a refuge of godly unity and joy.
Most importantly, we want to emphasize that all these requests are brought before the Father *in the name of Jesus*. It is through Christ alone that we have access to God’s throne, and it is in His name that we find salvation and the power to overcome. Jesus said in John 14:6, *"I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me."* If you have not already surrendered your life fully to Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so today. Confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9). There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12), and it is only through faith in Him that we can experience the fullness of God’s love, mercy, and power in our lives.
Now, let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You today with hearts full of gratitude for Your unfailing love and mercy. We thank You for the life of Your child who has brought these requests before You, trusting in Your goodness. Lord, we lift up their immigration process to You. You are the God who parts seas, who makes a way where there seems to be no way. We ask that You would go before them, Lord, and make their path smooth. Grant them favor in the sight of those in authority, that every document would be approved, every interview would be successful, and every decision would be in their favor. Let no weapon formed against them prosper, and let every tongue that rises against them be condemned (Isaiah 54:17). May Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their hearts and minds as they wait on You.
Father, we also pray for their catering business. You are Jehovah Jireh, the Lord who provides. We ask that You would open the floodgates of heaven and pour out blessings they cannot contain (Malachi 3:10). Draw clients to them, Lord, and let their work be marked by excellence and integrity. May their business not only meet their family’s needs but also be a tool for Your kingdom, that others would see their good works and glorify You (Matthew 5:16).
We pray for peace in their home, Lord. Let Your presence dwell richly among them. Bind up any spirit of strife or division, and let love, joy, and unity reign. May their home be a place of rest, where Your name is honored and Your Word is cherished.
Father, we thank You that You hear us when we pray in the name of Jesus. We declare that no request made in His name will be denied, for You have given us authority to ask according to Your will (1 John 5:14-15). Strengthen their faith, Lord, and let them see Your hand move mightily in their life this week. May they testify of Your goodness and give You all the glory.
Finally, Father, if there is any area in their life that is not fully surrendered to You, we pray that You would convict and draw them closer to You. Let them walk in the fullness of Your salvation, knowing that apart from Christ, we can do nothing (John 15:5). Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, that they may live a life that pleases You in every way.
We ask all these things in the mighty and precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
