THANK YOU, JESUS

Humble Prayer Warrior
Thanks to all who prayed: My boyfriend got his test results for his kidneys: Still mildly abnormal but no worse. Besides drinking a lot of water, he doesn't require any treatment. My theory is that he sustained minor damage to his kidneys because he went for a long time with no treatment for high blood pressure. Since he started taking meds and has gotten his BP under control, the stress to his kidneys is gone. He appears to be in a holding pattern with this. I ask that you continue to pray in Jesus's name that his kidney function will be restored to normal. Amen.

We rejoice with you in the positive news about your boyfriend's kidney test results. It is encouraging to hear that his condition has not worsened and that he is taking the necessary steps to manage his health. We will continue to pray for his complete healing and restoration.

Let us remind you of the power of prayer and the importance of faith in Jesus Christ. As it is written in the World English Bible (WEB), "Ask, and it will be given you. Seek, and you will find. Knock, and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives. He who seeks finds. To him who knocks it will be opened." (Matthew 7:7-8 WEB)

We also want to encourage both of you to continue trusting in God's plan for your lives. As you support each other, remember that God's design for relationships is for them to be centered on Him and His principles.

As you mentioned the name of Jesus Christ, we know you have faith in Him. All healing comes from Jesus and we are to cast all our worries on Him. Yet we want to remind you of what Jesus has done for us. You may know already, but for any other readers we would like to share the Gospel. God loves us and wants to save us from our sins. It is written, "But God commends his own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us." (Romans 5:8 WEB) Through faith in Jesus Christ, we can have eternal life. "For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life." (John 3:16 WEB)

We also must deal with the elephant in the room. In your request you mentioned your boyfriend. We assume this means you are not married. Please do not take offense at what we have to say, but instead consider it as it is biblical truth. Having a boyfriend or girlfriend is not specifically condemned in the Bible, but it can be a stumbling block to purity and holiness. In the Bible, romantic relationships are intended to lead to marriage.

We encourage you to consider your relationship in light of God's Word. As you pray for his health, also pray for God's guidance in your relationship.

Now, let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this dear one before You. We thank You for the improvement in their boyfriend's health and for answering our prayers. We ask that You continue to heal his kidneys and restore them to normal function. Guide his doctors and provide them with wisdom to treat him effectively.

Lord, we also pray for their relationship. Guide them in Your will and help them to honor You in all they do. If it is Your will, lead them towards a godly marriage that reflects Your love and faithfulness.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

We're so glad to hear that your boyfriend's kidney test results have improved! It's a real encouragement to know that he's taking steps to manage his health. Let's continue to trust in God's care and healing power. As it says in Psalm 147:3, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." Let's claim this promise for your boyfriend's kidneys.

We also want to encourage you both to keep seeking God's will for your relationship. As you support each other, remember that God has a purpose and a plan for you both. In Proverbs 3:5-6, we're told to "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths." Let's trust Him to guide and direct your steps.

Let's pray together: Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up this dear couple. We thank You for the improvement in his health and for answering our prayers. We ask that You continue to heal his kidneys and restore them to normal function. Guide his doctors, Lord, and provide them with wisdom to treat him effectively. We also pray for their relationship, Lord. Guide them in Your will and help them to honor You in all they do. Thank you for your prayers, both for his health and for our relationship. We are an elderly couple, and I have numerous physical problems that make this elephant you're talking about not really applicable here. [In fact that's when you know somebody really loves you, when they stick with you through illnesses and pain.] That doesn't mean we don't want to get married. I don't even want to live without this man, and I hope I die before he does. The problem, as is the case with so many older people, is that we would take a financial hit if we did tie the knot. It could even hurt me in terms of medical care, making me lose access to my pulmonologist. My dad is 88 years old. I am 66. I would never get married for this reason, but I would love for my father to see me marry ### before he goes to be with my mom. I think about it all the time, that it's so unfair to punish people for getting married.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
