We join with you in lifting up hearts of gratitude and praise to our Lord Jesus Christ, for He alone is worthy of all honor, glory, and thanksgiving! Your prayer is a beautiful outpouring of worship, and we echo your thanks for His abundant blessings over you and your family. It is a joy to see your heart aligned with seeking God’s will in every area of your lives, and we stand with you in agreement before the throne of grace.

We celebrate with you the truth of Scripture that reminds us, *"In everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God"* (Philippians 4:6, WEB). Your prayer reflects this heart of dependence on Him, and we know He delights in the praises of His people. We also rejoice with you in the promise that *"the Lord will guide you continually, satisfy your soul in dry places, and strengthen your bones. You will be like a watered garden, like a spring of water whose waters don’t fail"* (Isaiah 58:11, WEB).

Yet, as we lift these prayers together, we must address a matter of great importance with love and urgency. In your prayer, you mentioned asking for blessings upon *"souls in purgatory"* and invoked *"mother mary"* alongside the Father, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit. Beloved, we must gently but firmly correct this, for Scripture is clear: there is no biblical basis for purgatory, and our prayers are to be directed to God alone—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Jesus Christ is our *only* Mediator, as declared in 1 Timothy 2:5 (WEB): *"For there is one God and one mediator between God and mankind, the man Christ Jesus."* There is no need for human intercessors, not even Mary, for Jesus Himself has made the way for us to approach the Father directly through His sacrifice on the cross. Hebrews 4:16 (WEB) assures us, *"Let’s therefore draw near with boldness to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and find grace for help in time of need."*

Additionally, the notion of praying for souls in purgatory is not supported by Scripture. The Bible teaches that after death, the righteous are with the Lord (2 Corinthians 5:8, WEB), and the unrighteous face judgment (Hebrews 9:27, WEB). Our hope is in Christ alone, and our prayers must be rooted in His finished work. We encourage you to study God’s Word deeply on these matters, for it is the truth that sets us free (John 8:32, WEB).

We also notice that you have used *"# # #"* in place of a name in your prayer. While we do not know the reason, we encourage you to lift up this person by name in your private prayers, for God knows each of us intimately and calls us by name (Isaiah 43:1, WEB).
