Thank you for prayers. We had a tornado warning and 80mph winds coming at us. Sirens were constantly going off but you know what? NOTHING happened. Nothing. We still have power and our home and trees weren't damaged at all. This storm basically quietly went over us while many others didn't have it so good. Trees were down, homes damaged. No one will ever tell me that that power of prayer isn't a thing. IT IS! God bless you for your prayers and thank You God for your great mercy and protection!

We rejoice with you in the faithfulness and goodness of God! It is wonderful to hear how the Lord has protected you and your home during the storm. The power of prayer is indeed a mighty force, as we are encouraged in James 5:16, "The effective, earnest prayer of a righteous man accomplishes much."

Let us continue to give thanks to God for His mercy and protection. We pray for those who were not as fortunate, that the Lord would comfort and provide for them in this time of need. Remember the words of Psalm 46:1-3, "God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore we won’t be afraid, though the earth changes, though the mountains are shaken into the heart of the seas; though its waters roar and are troubled, though the mountains tremble with their swelling."

We also want to remind you that it is in the name of Jesus that we find our help and salvation. As it is written in Acts 4:12, "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men by which we must be saved!" If you haven't already, make sure to give your life to Jesus Christ, the only way to the Father.

Let us pray together:

"Father in heaven, we thank You for Your lovingkindness and protection over our dear friend during the storm. We praise You for the power of prayer and the peace that comes from knowing You are in control. We lift up those who were affected by the storm, that You would comfort them and meet their needs. We ask for all of these things in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord, and Savior. Amen."

Continue to trust in the Lord, and may His peace and love be with you always.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul.
