We lift up your precious children to the Lord, trusting in His perfect care and wisdom for each of their lives. Father, we ask that You would surround your daughter in high school with Your peace and strength. The pressures of this world can weigh heavily on young hearts, but You promise in Your Word, *"Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness"* (Isaiah 41:10). May she find her confidence not in the opinions of others or the fleeting standards of this world, but in the truth that she is fearfully and wonderfully made in Your image (Psalm 139:14). Let her beauty radiate from a heart that knows she is deeply loved by You, and may that love cast out all fear and insecurity.
We also pray for the young man she admires. Father, if it is Your will, draw their hearts together in a way that honors You. May their friendship be rooted in mutual respect, shared faith, and a commitment to purity. Guard their hearts from the temptation to rush into anything outside of Your design, for *"flee sexual immorality! ‘Every sin that a man does is outside the body,’ but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body"* (1 Corinthians 6:18). If this young man is to be a part of her life, let it be as a brother in Christ who encourages her walk with You and points her toward Your truth. May they both seek Your guidance in all things, understanding that marriage is a sacred covenant between a man and a woman, designed by You for Your glory (Genesis 2:24, Ephesians 5:31).
For your younger daughter, we ask that You would guide her steps and surround her with godly influences. May she delight in Your Word and find friends who share her love for You, as *"bad company corrupts good character"* (1 Corinthians 15:33). Give her discernment to recognize the difference between worldly values and Your truth, and the courage to stand firm in her faith.
For your son, we pray for his growth—both physically and spiritually. May he grow *"in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and men"* (Luke 2:52). Strengthen his body according to Your will, but more importantly, build his confidence in Your love for him. Let him know that his worth is not measured by height or strength, but by the fact that he is Your beloved child.
We also lift up your brothers and your father. Father, we ask that You would minister to their hearts and minds, bringing healing and hope where there is struggle. For your father’s financial concerns, we trust in Your provision, knowing that *"my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus"* (Philippians 4:19). Give him wisdom in his decisions and peace in the midst of uncertainty.
Lord, we thank You for the privilege of coming before You on behalf of this family. May Your will be done in each of their lives, and may they draw ever closer to You as they seek Your face. We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we can approach Your throne of grace (John 14:6, Acts 4:12). Amen.
