Please continue to help our family with alcohol abuse so we don't hurt ourselves our hurt our relationships with others. I pray for everyone else who's reading this that they too may have peace and happiness and blessings in their life 🙏. AMEN 🙏

We join you in lifting up praise to our Heavenly Father for the gift of His Son, Jesus Christ, through whom all blessings flow. It is beautiful to see your heart of gratitude and your trust in Him for every area of your life—your health, your marriage, your children, and your work. You have come before the Lord with a humble and thankful spirit, and we rejoice with you in the ways He has already moved in your family’s life.

Your request for healing from the cyst in your spine and relief from pain is one we bring earnestly before the Lord. The Scriptures remind us that our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, and God is deeply concerned with our physical well-being. In James 5:14-15, we read, *"Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven."* We pray that the Lord would continue to work through your doctors, granting them wisdom and skill as they treat you. May He bring complete healing to your spine, relieve the pain in your back and legs, and restore strength to your body so that you may serve Him and your family with vitality. We also pray for comfort in this season, knowing that even in suffering, His grace is sufficient (2 Corinthians 12:9).

Your heart for your marriage is a testament to the covenant you and your wife have made before God. Marriage is a sacred union, designed to reflect Christ’s love for His Church (Ephesians 5:25-33), and it is clear that you desire to honor that covenant. We praise God for the kindness you and your wife have shown one another this morning, and we pray that this would be the beginning of a deeper renewal in your relationship. If there have been struggles, bitterness, or wounds between you, we ask the Lord to bring healing and restoration. Colossians 3:12-14 calls us to *"put on therefore, as God’s chosen ones, holy and beloved, a heart of compassion, kindness, lowliness, humility, and perseverance; bearing with one another, and forgiving each other, if any man has a complaint against any; even as Christ forgave you, so you also do. Above all these things, walk in love, which is the bond of perfection."* May the Lord soften both of your hearts toward one another, fill you with His love, and help you to communicate with grace and patience. We pray that you would seek Him together, making your marriage a priority and a reflection of His glory.

For your son, we thank God for the provision of a job, and we pray that the Lord would bless his work and grant him favor in the eyes of his employers. Your desire for him to meet a godly woman is one we share, but we must first emphasize the importance of his relationship with Christ. A spouse is a blessing, but it is far more critical that he seeks the Lord above all else (Matthew 6:33). If it is God’s will for him to marry, we pray that the Lord would prepare a woman after His own heart—a believer who loves Jesus and is committed to walking in His ways. We also pray that your son would be a man of integrity, faithfully serving the Lord whether in singleness or marriage. Let him remember Proverbs 18:22: *"Whoever finds a wife finds a good thing, and obtains favor of the Lord."* But even more, let him seek first the kingdom of God, trusting that the Lord will provide all things in His perfect timing.

We rejoice with you over your daughter’s engagement! What a joy to know that her future husband sought your blessing, honoring the biblical principle of leaving and cleaving (Genesis 2:24). We pray that the Lord would prepare them both for a marriage rooted in Christ, where they serve one another in love and grow together in faith. May He provide your daughter with a job that not only meets her needs but also allows her to use her gifts for His glory. We ask that the Lord would surround her with godly mentors and friends who will encourage her in her walk with Him as she prepares for this new season.

Your honesty about the struggle with alcohol abuse in your family is both brave and necessary. The Bible warns us in Proverbs 20:1, *"Wine is a mocker, and beer is a brawler. Whoever is led astray by them is not wise."* And in Ephesians 5:18, we are told, *"Don’t be drunken with wine, in which is dissipation, but be filled with the Spirit."* Alcohol can destroy relationships, health, and testimonies, and it is a tool the enemy often uses to bring bondage. We pray that the Lord would break any stronghold of addiction in your family, filling each of you with His Spirit instead. May He give you the strength to resist temptation and the courage to seek accountability and help if needed. If there is any bitterness, shame, or broken trust because of past struggles, we ask the Lord to bring healing and restoration. Remember, there is no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus (Romans 8:1), and His power is made perfect in our weakness.

For your work, we pray that the Lord would grant you favor with your bosses, coworkers, and customers. May He give you wisdom in your projects, creativity in your tasks, and endurance for the demands of your job. Colossians 3:23-24 reminds us, *"Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance; for you serve the Lord Christ."* Even in weariness, may you find joy in serving the Lord through your work, trusting that He sees and rewards your faithfulness.

Finally, we lift up your weariness before the Lord. You carry much—physical pain, the weight of leadership in your family, and the responsibilities of work. But Jesus invites you in Matthew 11:28, *"Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest."* We pray that you would find rest in Him, casting all your cares upon Him because He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7). Even as an "old man" with a "sore back," your life is a testimony of God’s faithfulness across generations. May He renew your strength like the eagle’s (Isaiah 40:31) and fill you with His peace as you trust in Him.

We also join you in praying for everyone reading this request. May the Lord meet each person in their place of need, drawing them closer to Himself. For those who do not yet know Jesus, we pray that they would recognize their need for a Savior and turn to Him in repentance and faith. Acts 4:12 declares, *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* Jesus is the only way to the Father (John 14:6), and it is through His name alone that we have access to God’s throne of grace.

**Our Prayer for You:**
Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of gratitude for the ways You have already moved in this family’s life. Lord, we thank You for the gift of Your Son, Jesus Christ, through whom all our prayers are heard. We lift up our brother to You now, asking for Your healing touch upon his body. You are the Great Physician, and we pray that You would guide the hands of his doctors, burst the cyst in his spine, and bring complete relief from his pain. Restore strength to his back and legs, and grant him the endurance to fulfill the tasks You have set before him.

Father, we pray for his marriage, that You would renew the love and commitment between him and his wife. Soften their hearts toward one another, and help them to communicate with kindness and patience. Heal any wounds or bitterness, and fill their home with Your peace. May they seek You together, making their marriage a reflection of Christ’s love for the Church.

Lord, we thank You for providing a job for their son. Bless his work and grant him favor. If it is Your will, prepare a godly wife for him—a woman who loves You and will walk beside him in faith. But above all, draw him closer to You, that he may find his satisfaction in Christ alone.

We rejoice over their daughter’s engagement and pray that You would prepare her and her future husband for a marriage that honors You. Provide her with meaningful work and surround her with godly influences as she prepares for this new season.

Father, we ask that You would break any stronghold of alcohol in this family. Fill them with Your Spirit and grant them the strength to walk in freedom. Restore what has been broken, and help them to support one another in love and accountability.

For our brother’s work, we pray for favor with his bosses, coworkers, and customers. Give him wisdom and creativity in his projects, and help him to work as unto You, knowing that You see and reward his faithfulness.

Lord, we lift up his weariness to You. Renew his strength and fill him with Your peace. Remind him that You are his refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1).

Finally, Father, we pray for everyone reading this request. Meet them in their needs, and draw them closer to You. For those who do not know Jesus, open their eyes to their need for a Savior, and lead them to repentance and faith in Christ.

We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever. Amen.
