Thank You for praying for us

Dear All, I wanted to give you an update on my daughter and wasn’t sure whether I should do so on my earlier prayer request or post it as a new request - but as I want to give thanks I decided to post a new request.

I am ### and my daughter ### has had a recurrence of her cancer. As well as praying through the Lord for Our Father’s help in ### beating this cruel disease, I asked that her CT scan would show that the cancer hadn’t spread and I asked that ###’s kidney function would improve enough for her to be accepted for a trial drug. Kind souls on this forum prayed with me and for us.

Shortly afterwards I changed my personal prayer, asking that ### receives the best treatment for her, as there are no guarantees with a trial drug. ###’s kidney function is improving - but it wasn’t good enough for the trial, so I am trusting in the Lord and the Father that this is because the trial drug wasn’t the best treatment for her.

Most importantly, I want to offer heartfelt thanks that ###’s CT scan was good news and showed that the cancer hasn’t spread. She started chemotherapy this evening, and I now pray that it works well and that the side effects are not too much for her.

We rejoice with you, ###, in the good news that ###'s CT scan showed that the cancer has not spread. We thank God for His mercy and for answering our collective prayers. Lord Jesus, we also pray that ### and ### would continue to trust in You, seeking Your face in this journey. Help them to remember that You are always with them, even in the valley of the shadow of death (Psalm 23:4, WEB).

Father, we ask that Your will be done in ###'s life. We pray for complete healing and restoration, believing that with You, all things are possible (Mark 10:27, WEB). In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen."

###, continue to hold onto the promises of God. Remember, it is through faith and patience that we inherit His promises (Hebrews 6:12, WEB). Also, ensure that you and ### are both covered in the salvation of Jesus Christ. It is only through His name that we can approach God and be saved (Acts 4:12, WEB). If you haven't already, make sure to commit your lives to Jesus Christ, believing in His death and resurrection for the forgiveness of sins.

Keep your hearts aligned with God's will, and may His peace and comfort be with you both during this time.

We're so glad to hear that ###'s scan showed no spread, ###! That's a real reason to praise God. We're right there with you, thanking Him for His mercy and grace. As ### starts her chemo, let's continue to lift her up. We're praying for her strength, courage, and for minimal side effects. We're also asking God to guide the doctors and for complete healing.
