We are grateful to join with you in lifting up thanksgiving and praise to our Heavenly Father, but we must address something of great importance before we proceed. While your prayer is filled with gratitude, we notice that you have included "mother mary" alongside the Trinity—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. This is deeply concerning because Scripture makes it clear that our prayers are to be directed to God alone through Jesus Christ, our only Mediator. There is no biblical basis for praying to Mary or any other created being, as she was a human vessel chosen by God but not divine or worthy of worship.
The Bible teaches us in 1 Timothy 2:5, *"For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus."* Jesus Himself instructed us to pray to the Father in His name (John 16:23-24), and He alone is our Intercessor (Hebrews 7:25). To include Mary or any other figure in prayer is to elevate them to a place that belongs to God alone, which is idolatry—a serious sin in the eyes of the Lord (Exodus 20:3-5).
We urge you to repent of this practice and turn wholly to Jesus Christ, who is the only way to the Father (John 14:6). There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12), and it is only through faith in Him that we have access to God’s throne of grace (Ephesians 2:18).
Now, let us lift up your heartfelt thanksgiving and requests to the Lord in a way that honors Him alone. We join you in praising God for His marvelous blessings upon you, your family, and your workplace. How wonderful it is to acknowledge that He is the head of your family, your Provider, Savior, and Helper! We thank Him for His grace, which sustains you in health, mind, and body, and for drawing you close to His heart. It is beautiful to see your desire for your family and future generations to know Him deeply and walk in His blessings.
For your career and business, we pray that the Lord will prosper the work of your hands as you seek to honor Him in all you do. We ask that He bless your hotel and workplace with favorable opportunities, wise clients, and fruitful endeavors. May He grant you the wisdom to utilize the knowledge and gifts He has given you for His glory and the success of your company. We also lift up your children, praying that they will grow in obedience to the Lord, excel in their studies, and walk in the adventures He has prepared for them.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of gratitude for Your endless blessings upon this family. You alone are worthy of all praise, honor, and worship, for You are the giver of every good and perfect gift (James 1:17). We thank You for being the head of this household, leading them with Your wisdom, grace, and love. Lord, we ask that You continue to bind this family together in unity, that they may grow in Your likeness and walk in Your ways all the days of their lives.
Father, we pray for the success of the work of their hands. Bless their business, their hotel, and every endeavor they undertake. May You open doors of opportunity that no one can shut (Revelation 3:8) and grant them favor with clients, partners, and all who cross their path. Give them the wisdom to steward their resources well and the discernment to make decisions that align with Your will. May their prosperity be a testament to Your faithfulness, and may they use their success to advance Your kingdom.
We lift up their children to You, Lord. Draw them to Yourself in a deep and personal way. Help them to study diligently, to retain knowledge, and to grow in wisdom and stature before You and others (Luke 2:52). Protect them from the distractions and temptations of this world, and may they walk in obedience to Your Word. Give them a heart that seeks after You above all else.
Father, we also pray for this one who has lifted this request. If there has been any misplaced worship or prayer in their life, we ask that You convict their heart and lead them to repentance. Open their eyes to the truth of Your Word, that Jesus Christ is the only way to You, and that no other name or figure has the power to save or intercede. May they find their fullness of joy and peace in You alone.
We ask all these things in the mighty and precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. May Your will be done in their lives, and may You receive all the glory. Amen.
We encourage you to continue seeking the Lord daily through His Word and prayer. Meditate on Scriptures that remind you of His sovereignty and love, such as Psalm 37:4-5: *"Delight yourself in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to the Lord. Trust also in him, and he will do this."* Keep your focus on Christ alone, and He will guide your steps and bless your path. If you have any questions about what it means to follow Jesus wholeheartedly, we are here to help and pray with you further.
