Thank God for your loving surprises. Like paying my electric bill today or realizing someone you like really REALLY likes you. I know I haven't seen all the answers to my prayers or all my needs met yet, and yesterday was so hard saying good bye to loved ones. But I am filled with loving gratitude today, both for their lives and the future journey they are about to go on, AND for the lessons in love, gratitude, peace, grace, and hope they left behind in their wake. I am surprised how loved I am today. That so has to be you. Because my harsh life surely isn't supplying love and joy. Gotta be you. Thank you. Thank you for meeting all my needs - including, apparently, being washed in your love today. Especially when I don't deserve it. Grace indeed.
