Disciple of Prayer
Hello, how are you? My name is ### and I will contact you to ask for prayer for me and my ex ###. Our marriage ended because of people who came into our lives for that purpose. I would like to ask for prayer because even though I am not a member of the church I experience great injustice. People in my family try to harm me in my work and have already done this in my relationships. I would like to ask for prayer to break all the work of macumba in my life. Thank you for your help and may God bless you all.

We hear your cry for help and the deep pain in your heart as you share about the brokenness of your marriage and the injustices you are facing. First, we want to acknowledge that your suffering is real, and we stand with you in seeking God’s deliverance and justice. The Bible tells us in Psalm 34:18-19, *"The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the Lord delivers him out of them all."* You are not alone in this battle, and we believe God sees every tear you have shed.

We must address the mention of "macumba" and any involvement in spiritual practices outside of God’s Word. The Bible is clear that we are not to engage with or fear any form of witchcraft, sorcery, or false spiritual powers. Deuteronomy 18:10-12 warns, *"There shall not be found with you anyone who makes his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, one who uses divination, one who practices sorcery, or an enchanter, or a sorcerer, or a charmer, or a consulter with a familiar spirit, or a wizard, or a necromancer. For whoever does these things is an abomination to the Lord."* These practices are not of God and have no power over those who belong to Christ. Instead, we rebuke every assignment of the enemy against you in the mighty name of Jesus. We declare that no weapon formed against you shall prosper, as Isaiah 54:17 promises: *"No weapon that is formed against you will prevail; and you will condemn every tongue that accuses you in judgment. This is the heritage of the Lord’s servants, and their righteousness is of me,” says the Lord."*

We also want to gently address the foundation of your faith. You mentioned that you are not a member of the church, but we must emphasize that salvation and deliverance come only through Jesus Christ. John 14:6 says, *"Jesus said to him, ‘I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.’"* There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have not yet surrendered your life to Jesus, we urge you to do so today. Confess your sins, repent, and invite Him to be the Lord of your life. Romans 10:9-10 tells us, *"If you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart, one believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation."* Only through Christ can you experience true freedom, protection, and victory over the schemes of the enemy.

Now, let us pray for you with boldness and faith. Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up our sister who is hurting and seeking Your justice. Lord, we ask that You break every chain of oppression, witchcraft, and injustice that has been released against her. We rebuke every spirit of division, strife, and destruction that has come against her marriage, her family, and her work. We declare that no weapon formed against her shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against her in judgment shall be condemned. Father, we ask that You surround her with Your angels and protect her from every evil scheme. Heal her heart from the pain of betrayal and restore what has been stolen from her. Lord, we pray for her ex-husband as well. Soften his heart, draw him to repentance, and let Your love and truth prevail in his life.

We also pray for her family. Father, expose every hidden agenda and bring to light every work of darkness. Let Your light shine in their hearts and convict them of their wrongdoing. We ask that You would turn their hearts toward You and toward one another in love and reconciliation. Lord, we declare that Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, will guard her heart and mind in Christ Jesus. Strengthen her faith, fill her with Your Holy Spirit, and let her walk in the victory that is hers through the blood of Jesus. We thank You, Father, for hearing our prayer and for moving mightily on her behalf. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.

In addition to prayer, we encourage you to take practical steps to guard your heart and mind. Surround yourself with believers who can support and pray for you. Attend a Bible-believing church where you can grow in your faith and find community. The enemy seeks to isolate, but God calls us to fellowship with one another. Hebrews 10:24-25 says, *"Let us consider how to provoke one another to love and good works, not forsaking our own assembling together, as the custom of some is, but exhorting one another; and so much the more, as you see the Day approaching."*

We also urge you to forgive those who have wronged you, not because they deserve it, but because God commands it. Unforgiveness is a heavy burden that only harms you. Colossians 3:13 says, *"Bear with one another, and forgive each other, if any man has a complaint against any; even as Christ forgave you, so you also do."* Forgiveness does not mean what they did was right, but it releases you from the bondage of bitterness and allows God to work in your heart.

Lastly, stand firm in your identity in Christ. You are a child of the Most High God, and no weapon formed against you shall prosper. Walk in the authority that is yours through Jesus, and do not fear the enemy’s tactics. James 4:7 says, *"Be subject therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you."* The battle is the Lord’s, and He has already won the victory. Trust in Him, lean on His promises, and watch as He turns your mourning into dancing and your sorrow into joy.

Dear ###,

We heard your cry for help and we're here for you. We're so sorry to hear about the brokenness in your marriage and the injustices you're facing. We want you to know that you're not alone, and we're standing with you in prayer.

We're going to keep it real with you, like we're sitting down together over a cup of coffee. We understand that you're hurting, and it's okay to feel that way. God sees every tear you've shed, and He's right there with you.

Now, let's talk about this 'macumba' thing. We need to be clear about this: anything outside of God's Word, like witchcraft or sorcery, is not from Him. It's important that we stay away from these things because they have no power over those who belong to Christ. We rebuke any assignments of the enemy against you in Jesus' mighty name. No weapon formed against you shall prosper, remember that (Isaiah 54:17).

We also want to gently encourage you to build your faith on Jesus Christ. He's the only way to salvation and deliverance. If you haven't already, we urge you to surrender your life to Him. Confess your sins, repent, and invite Him to be the Lord of your life. Only through Christ can you experience true freedom, protection, and victory.

Now, let's pray for you. Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up our sister ###. Lord, we ask You to break every chain of oppression, witchcraft, and injustice against her. We rebuke every spirit of division, strife, and destruction that's come against her marriage, family, and work. We declare that no weapon formed against her shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against her in judgment shall be condemned. Father, we ask You to surround her with Your angels and protect her from every evil scheme. Heal her heart from the pain of betrayal and restore what's been stolen from her. Lord, we also pray for her ex-husband. Soften his heart, draw him to repentance, and let Your love and truth prevail in his life. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to surround yourself with believers who can support and pray for you. Attend a Bible-believing church where you can grow in your faith and find community. Also, forgiveness is key. Forgive those who have wronged you, not because they deserve it, but because God commands it. Stand firm in your identity in Christ. You are a child of the Most High God, and no weapon formed against you shall prosper.

Remember, the battle is the Lord's, and He's already won the victory. Trust in Him, lean on His promises, and watch as He turns your mourning into dancing and your sorrow into joy.

We're here for you, ###. Let's walk through this together, one step at a time.
