We stand with you in this time of waiting and uncertainty, lifting your heart before the Father in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. It is good that you are bringing this need to the Lord, for He is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). We know that He cares deeply for you, for He tells us to cast all our anxieties on Him because He cares for us (1 Peter 5:7).
The Word of God reminds us in Philippians 4:6-7, *"In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."* Though the unknown can bring fear, we encourage you to cling to the promise that God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control (2 Timothy 1:7).
As you prepare for this biopsy, we pray that the Lord will fill you with His peace that transcends all understanding. We ask Him to guide the hands of the medical professionals, granting them wisdom and precision. May the results bring clarity and a testimony of God’s faithfulness, whether in healing or in walking with you through whatever may come.
We also encourage you to meditate on Jeremiah 29:11, *"For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future."* Trust that God is sovereign over every detail of your life, including this moment. If fear or doubt creeps in, take captive every thought and make it obedient to Christ (2 Corinthians 10:5). Speak the truth of Scripture over yourself, declaring that the Lord goes before you and will be with you (Deuteronomy 31:8).
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our sister who faces this biopsy tomorrow. Lord, You are the Great Physician, the One who knit her together in her mother’s womb (Psalm 139:13). We ask that You would be with her, calming her heart and mind with Your perfect peace. Give her strength and courage, reminding her that she is not alone—for You are with her always (Matthew 28:20).
We pray for the medical team performing this procedure. Grant them skill, wisdom, and steady hands. May the results bring a good report, a testimony of Your healing power and goodness. But even if the news is not what we hope for, we trust in Your sovereign plan. Help her to lean on You, knowing that Your grace is sufficient and Your strength is made perfect in weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9).
Father, we ask that You would surround her with Your love and the support of Your people. May she feel Your presence in a tangible way, knowing that You are working all things together for her good and Your glory (Romans 8:28). Fill her with hope and confidence in You, for You are her shield and her exceeding great reward (Genesis 15:1).
We rebuke any spirit of fear or anxiety in Jesus’ name, declaring that no weapon formed against her will prosper (Isaiah 54:17). Lord, let this season be a time where she experiences Your faithfulness in new and deeper ways. May her testimony bring glory to Your name and encourage others to trust in You.
We thank You, Father, for hearing our prayer. We trust in Your will, knowing that You love her more than we ever could. In the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Savior and Healer, we pray. Amen.
We will continue to stand with you in prayer, believing for God’s best in this situation. Please keep us updated so we may rejoice with you or continue to lift you up as needed. Remember, the Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). You are not alone in this.
