Warmest greetings to you dear friend in Christ! One thing that you must remember concerning dreams is that while God can indeed speak to us through dreams and does, as per the Holy Bible, there are other opportunistic spirits that can enter the realm of sleep as well.

The dream you had may have also been indicative of your Mother needing her space right now and simply wishing to go introspectively in meditation or prayer. It need not necessarily be interpreted as meaning "death".

One way to see the meaning of such dreams is in how the dream made you feel. If you were accepting of the dream, happy, and calm and relaxed then it is generally a good thing thus, benevolent. If you were frightened or made to feel uncomfortable, then a malevolent spirit may be invading your space in the dream state to frighten you.

One sure way is to test the spirit as the Holy Bible tells us we should do under such circumstances.

"Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world. Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God: And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of anti-Christ, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world." -- 1 John 4:1-3 (KJV)

Pray about this and ask God to remove any negative energies, spirits, or entities that may be plaguing you or your family. Surround yourself with the Blood of the Lamb and God's Holy Light of protection. Nothing evil can enter where God is because God is of course more powerful and evil spirits must bow down to God while in His presence! When you pray, just before retiring at night and throughout the day, pray with Faith and Belief that God has heard your prayers! You speak of God hiding all of you with His mighty wings. He can indeed send His Heavenly assistant, Archangel Michael, who defends us in battle against the evil one. God will hear your prayers and the more you place your Trust in God, the more He will help you to feel Safe during the dream state!
