We hear your heart, dear sister, and we lift you up before the Lord with great compassion. The weariness of these past two years is not lost on us, and we stand with you in prayer as you seek God’s wisdom for the path ahead. Teaching is a noble calling, but it is also one that demands much—especially when coupled with the beautiful yet demanding season of carrying new life. We pray that the Lord would grant you clarity and peace as you consider what grade to teach next year, trusting that He knows your needs even better than you do.
Scripture reminds us in Matthew 11:28, *"Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest."* The Lord sees your exhaustion, your dedication, and your desire to serve both your students and your family well. We pray that He would open the right door for you—whether that be a different grade, a smoother classroom environment, or even a season of rest if that is His will. Proverbs 3:5-6 encourages us, *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will direct your paths."*
We also want to gently remind you that while seeking a less exhausting season is understandable, we must surrender our plans to the Lord, trusting that His strength is made perfect in our weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9). If He calls you to continue in your current grade, He will sustain you. If He opens a new opportunity, it will be for your good and His glory. We pray that you would find joy in the journey, knowing that the Lord delights in you and your family.
Father God, we come before You on behalf of this dear sister, lifting up her heart and her needs. Lord, You know the desires of her heart—her longing for a smoother year, her love for her students, and her devotion to her growing family. We ask that You would guide her steps, opening the right door for next year’s teaching assignment. Give her wisdom to discern Your will and peace to rest in Your provision. Strengthen her body, mind, and spirit as she carries this precious child, and fill her with Your joy even in the midst of weariness. May she feel Your presence with her in every lesson taught and every moment at home. We trust You to order her steps according to Your perfect plan, and we ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen.
We encourage you to seek the Lord in prayer and fasting if needed, asking Him to reveal His will for this next season. Surround yourself with godly counsel—perhaps a trusted mentor or fellow believer in education who can offer wisdom. And remember, the Lord is your ultimate Provider, and He will not leave you lacking. May He bless you abundantly as you seek to honor Him in your work and your home.
