(Unfortunately, some, in seeing the reference to Jerusalem, may refuse to pray this prayer. But, please understand, in refusing, you are only forfeiting your own blessing. This prayer is not for Jerusalem "the place," alone, it is for all who confess GOD's sovereignty)
Syrian Leaders: I pray to God in Heaven, that your eyes will be opened to the ones whom you call friend.
Think about it Syria, they have set it up so that war and destruction will take place in your territory, not theirs; your assets will be demolished, not theirs; your people, your children will be mutilated and killed, not theirs; it is your land that will be destroyed, not theirs. And finally, in adding insult to your injury, the world will blame you
(Do you not see the plot as it is unfolding before your very eyes?)
Look around you, it’s your people who are suffering. It’s your children who are being killed with the poison that your “so called” friend has provided to you, whereby your peoples’ blood is upon your own hands. Take off the blinders. Their children are not lying in the streets, foaming at their mouths, it’s Syrian children. Are Syrian children not worthy of life, peace and prosperity? You think your “so called” friend cares about your well-being because they have equipped you with arsenals. But, they are only manipulating you to advance their own purpose. In their eyes you are weak to be used. They have convinced you that your enemy is everybody else, “those people over there,” so that your attention is diverted from them, your real enemy. IT’S A SET UP!!! Just as they have tried to use North Korea and other nations, as pawns, in their sad and destructive plot, to “take over the world;” so are they now using you. (Father rebuke this pathetic little “Pinky and the Brain” mentality. Cause the real enemy’s weaponry to backfire on themselves; entangle them in the snares of every intricacy and element of their own scheme. SHUT ‘EM DOWN. Lift up their skirts, reveal their thigh and make them a ridicule in the whole earth, until such time as they submit to Your Will. Bring them to the knowledge that there is but one who dominates in heaven and on earth: GOD the Father, GOD the Son; and God the Holy Spirit. THE GODHEAD).
Heavenly Father, I pray right now in the name of JESUS, that you bring these rebellious leaders to their knees. Let no other nation, on the face of the earth, entertain their propaganda, purpose nor even their very presence, until they turn, to the one and only LIVING GOD, in all righteousness. Humble them LORD. For Your Righteousness sake. Amen.
To All of GOD’s People (worldwide):
Heed, in the midst God’s warnings: “Then, If My people, which are called by My name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land. It’s your choice.
The following is the “PRAYER OF CONFESSION,” which God set forth, through His Prophet Daniel, for His people to pray:
"O Lord, the great and awesome God, who keeps his covenant of love with all who love him and obey his commands, we have sinned and done wrong. We have been wicked and have rebelled; we have turned away from your commands and laws. We have not listened to your servants the prophets, who spoke in your name to our kings, our princes and our fathers, and to all the people of the land. "Lord, you are righteous, but this day we are covered with shame-the men of Judah and people of Jerusalem and all Israel, both near and far, in all the countries where you have scattered us because of our unfaithfulness to you. O Lord, we and our kings, our princes and our fathers are covered with shame because we have sinned against you. The Lord our God is merciful and forgiving, even though we have rebelled against him; we have not obeyed the Lord our God or kept the laws he gave us through his servants the prophets. All Israel has transgressed your law and turned away, refusing to obey you. "Therefore, the curses and sworn judgments written in the Law of Moses, the servant of God, have been poured out on us, because we have sinned against you. You have fulfilled the words spoken against us and against our rulers by bringing upon us great disaster. Under the whole heaven nothing has ever been done like what has been done to Jerusalem. Just as it is written in the Law of Moses, all this disaster has come upon us, yet we have not sought the favor of the Lord our God by turning from our sins and giving attention to your truth.”
The Lord did not hesitate to bring the disaster upon us, for the Lord our God is righteous in everything he does; yet we have not obeyed him. "Now, O Lord our God, who brought your people out of Egypt with a mighty hand and who made for yourself a name that endures to this day, we have sinned, we have done wrong. O Lord, in keeping with all your righteous acts, turn away your anger and your wrath from Jerusalem, your city, your holy hill. Our sins and the iniquities of our fathers have made Jerusalem and your people an object of scorn to all those around us. "Now, our God, hear the prayers and petitions of your servant. For your sake, O Lord, look with favor on your desolate sanctuary. Give ear, O God, and hear; open your eyes and see the desolation of the city that bears your Name. We do not make requests of you because we are righteous, but because of your great mercy. O Lord, listen! O Lord, forgive! O Lord, hear and act! For your sake, O my God, do not delay, because your city and your people bear your Name."
