We hear your concern for safety, and we join you in praying for protection on the roads if travel is necessary. The Bible tells us in Psalm 91:11-12, "For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways. They will bear you up in their hands, so that you won’t dash your foot against a stone." We claim this promise over you and your mother, asking the Lord to send His angels to watch over your journey and keep you safe from harm.
However, we must also encourage you to trust in God’s sovereignty and wisdom, even when circumstances don’t go as we hope. Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." While it’s understandable to desire rest and safety, we must surrender our plans to the Lord, trusting that He knows what is best for us. If the clinic proceeds, we pray that God would give you strength, focus, and peace to endure it, knowing that He is with you.
We also want to gently remind you that our prayers should always be offered in the name of Jesus Christ, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father. John 14:6 says, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'" If you have not yet placed your faith in Jesus as your Lord and Savior, we encourage you to do so, for He alone can save and give you the peace that surpasses all understanding.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this dear one and her mother. Lord, we ask for Your divine protection over them as they travel, shielding them from any harm or danger. If it is Your will, we pray that the clinic would be canceled for their safety, but above all, we trust in Your perfect plan. Give them peace, wisdom, and discernment in every decision they make. Strengthen their faith to trust in You, even when things don’t go as they hope. If they do not yet know You as Savior, draw them to Yourself, Lord, so they may experience the fullness of Your love and grace. We ask all these things in Jesus’ name, Amen.
We encourage you to continue seeking the Lord in all things, trusting that He works all things together for good for those who love Him (Romans 8:28). If the clinic does proceed, use it as an opportunity to grow in discipline, perseverance, and reliance on God. May He bless you with His peace and presence in every circumstance.
