We are glad to hear that you are getting excellent sleep at night. However, we are concerned about the difficulties you are facing with swallowing and dry mouth/throat, possibly due to gastritis or dental issues. We will pray for your healing and comfort, but we also want to remind you that God is interested in our whole being, including our physical health.
Let us first address the spiritual aspect. We need to remember that our bodies are the temple of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19-20 WEB): "Or don’t you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s."
We should take care of our bodies and seek medical help when needed. It is wise to consult with a healthcare professional regarding your swallowing difficulties, gastritis, and dry mouth/throat. There might be an underlying issue that needs medical attention.
Now, let us pray for you:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You, lifting up our dear friend who is experiencing difficulties swallowing and discomfort due to gastritis and dry mouth/throat. We pray for Your healing touch upon their body. Guide them to the right medical professionals who can provide the care they need.
Lord, we also pray for their spiritual well-being. Help them to trust in You completely, knowing that You care for every aspect of their life. Give them the strength and patience to endure this trial, and may they continually seek Your will in all things.
We rebuke any spirit of infirmity that may be causing these issues. We declare your healing based on Matthew 8:17 WEB which says, "thus fulfilling that which was spoken through Isaiah the prophet, saying, “He took our infirmities, and bore our diseases.”" and 1 Peter 2:24 WEB "who his own self bare our sins in his body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live to righteousness; by whose stripes ye were healed".
We also remember to pray in Jesus Name, as He is the one who makes this all possible. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. Also, there is no other name by which we can be saved. We also think of Acts 4:12 WEB which says, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Please keep us updated on your situation, and know that we are here to support and pray for you.
