Surrendering everything to the Lord..

Humble Prayer Warrior
Heavenly Father,

I come to you with a broken heart and a clouded mind. I am filled with so much anxiety, sorrow and pain.

I just got rejected twice with ###. This was the job that I prayed for last year and you gave it to me, but I guess this chapter of my life is now closed.

I am afraid because I don’t know where else to go, what work I should apply for next. I know I prayed hard for this job to come last year, and you have given me more than enough. You have answered all my prayers in a way that I myself was surprised by all the wonders of your mercy.

Lord Jesus Christ, if it's not too much to ask, can you please take away this pain from me. Please give me another chance to experience your blessings. I fully surrender everything to you. I surrender not being able to find a job, being rejected too many times and all my love life and financial problems.

Everything is just too heavy for me to carry alone, and I don’t know what to do anymore. I am so sad. I keep on watching inspirational Bible reels but none of them seem to capture your message for me clearly. I want to be able to hear your voice. Please point me into the right direction.

Please help me to find a company that will believe in my skills. One that would help me pay all of my financial obligations. I pray that this one will be stable. I put all my trust in you. You know what I need and only a miracle from you can change the course of my entire life. I have so many payables and I have no more savings left to save me. I am all out. I am desperate and I am really in deep hell. That’s why I am surrendering it all to you. Please save me.

I am also praying for ###. Lord, I know you have given me this man for a reason but I can’t seem to understand how to make it work. We both keep praying you guide us, please be the center of our friendship. Please show us how we can make it work in accordance to your most Holy Will.

I am very tired, Lord. Please take all this pain away from me. I’m begging you. I surrender everything to you. I am only praying now that you hear me for I know you will not forsake me.

Jesus, I really need you in my life. Please hear my prayers.

Amen.

We hear your cry, dear brother in Christ, and we join you in lifting these heavy burdens before the throne of grace. Your pain, anxiety, and desperation are not unseen by our Heavenly Father, who collects every tear in His bottle (Psalm 56:8). You are not alone in this struggle, for the Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). Let us first rebuke the spirit of despair that seeks to overwhelm you. The enemy would love nothing more than for you to believe that God has abandoned you or that your circumstances are beyond His reach. But we declare that this is a lie! Jesus Himself said, *"Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest"* (Matthew 11:28). He is not a distant God but One who walks with you in the fire and the flood (Isaiah 43:2).

Your surrender is not a sign of weakness but of profound trust in the One who holds all things together (Colossians 1:17). Yet we must gently remind you that surrender is not a one-time act but a daily choice to lay down your will, your fears, and your plans at the feet of Jesus. The apostle Paul wrote, *"I have been crucified with Christ, and it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me. That life which I now live in the flesh, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself up for me"* (Galatians 2:20). This is the posture we must maintain—fully dependent on Him, not on our own understanding or efforts.

We also feel compelled to address the matter of your relationship with the man you mentioned. While we rejoice that you both seek the Lord’s guidance, we must ask: Is this relationship honoring to God? Are you both pursuing marriage as the Bible defines it—a covenant between one man and one woman (Genesis 2:24, Matthew 19:4-6)? If this is not the case, we urge you to prayerfully consider whether this friendship aligns with God’s design. The Lord’s will is not for us to be unequally yoked with unbelievers (2 Corinthians 6:14), nor to engage in relationships that lead us away from His commands. If this man is not your husband, we encourage you to guard your heart (Proverbs 4:23) and seek the Lord’s wisdom about whether this relationship is truly of Him.

Regarding your job search, we understand the weight of financial stress, but we must also remind you that your worth is not defined by your employment or your bank account. The Lord knows your needs before you even ask (Matthew 6:8), and He has promised to provide for His children (Philippians 4:19). However, we must also encourage you to take practical steps—seek counsel, update your resume, and trust that the Lord will open the right doors in His perfect timing. *"Commit your way to Yahweh. Trust also in him, and he will do this"* (Psalm 37:5).

Let us pray for you now:

Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of our brother, who is weary and heavy-laden. Lord, You see his tears, his fears, and his financial burdens. We ask that You would wrap Your arms around him and remind him of Your nearness. Father, we rebuke the spirit of anxiety and despair in Jesus’ name. Replace his sorrow with Your peace, which surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Give him clarity of mind and a renewed sense of purpose. Open doors of opportunity that no man can shut (Revelation 3:8), and provide for his needs in ways that glorify Your name.

Lord, we ask that You would speak to him clearly—not through reels or vague messages, but through Your Word and the still, small voice of Your Spirit. Help him to hear You say, *"This is the way. Walk in it"* (Isaiah 30:21). For his relationship, we pray for discernment. If this man is not Your will for his life, reveal that truth to him and give him the strength to walk away. If it is Your will, guide them both into a relationship that honors You, with marriage as the ultimate goal.

Above all, we pray that our brother would fix his eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of his faith (Hebrews 12:2). Remind him that You are working all things together for his good (Romans 8:28), even when the path is unclear. Strengthen his faith, Lord, and help him to trust You with every area of his life. We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, who alone is our hope and salvation. Amen.

We encourage you to cling to the promises of God’s Word, even when circumstances feel overwhelming. Memorize verses like Jeremiah 29:11 (*"For I know the thoughts that I think toward you," says Yahweh, "thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future"*) and Psalm 37:25 (*"I have been young, and now am old, yet I have not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his children begging for bread"*). The Lord has not forgotten you. Keep seeking Him, keep surrendering, and keep trusting. He is faithful.

Dear friend, we're right here with you, feeling the weight of your burdens. We too have felt the sting of rejection, the anxiety of uncertainty, and the desperation of financial strain. But remember, Jesus said, "Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest." (Matthew 11:28)

We know it's hard, but let's choose to trust in Him, moment by moment. Let's lay down our fears, our plans, and our pride at the feet of Jesus. Let's find our rest in Him, just as the psalmist did: "The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He makes me lie down in green pastures. He leads me beside still waters." (Psalm 23:1-2)

We're also praying for clarity in your relationship. Let's ask God to make His will clear, and give you the strength to follow it, whatever it may be. And for your job search, let's trust that God knows your needs and will provide (Matthew 6:8, Philippians 4:19). Let's also be proactive, seeking counsel and opportunities, and commit our ways to the Lord (Psalm 37:5).

Keep surrendering, keep trusting, and keep seeking. He is faithful, and He will not forsake you. We're in this together, and we're here for you.
