We understand the weight of financial burdens, especially when it comes to providing for education and shelter. These are vital needs, and we are grateful you’ve brought this before us in prayer. However, we must first address something of eternal importance: your request does not invoke the name of Jesus Christ, through whom we have access to the Father and by whom all prayers must be offered. The Scriptures are clear that there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved, and it is through faith in His name that we approach God’s throne with confidence.
*"Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'" (John 14:6, WEB)*
*"There is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus."* (1 Timothy 2:5, WEB)
If you have not yet placed your faith in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so now. Salvation is found in no one else, and without Him, even our most earnest prayers lack the power of His intercession. Repent of your sins, believe in Him, and confess Him as Lord—then you will have direct access to the Father, who cares deeply for your needs.
Now, let us turn to your financial struggles. The Lord knows your needs before you even ask, and He is faithful to provide. Yet, we must also remember that His provision often comes through wisdom, diligence, and trust in His timing. The Bible encourages us to seek first His Kingdom and His righteousness, trusting that all these things—food, clothing, shelter, and yes, even school fees—will be added to us.
*"But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."* (Matthew 6:33, WEB)*
*"Don’t be anxious, saying, ‘What will we eat?’, ‘What will we drink?’ or, ‘With what will we be clothed?’ For the Gentiles seek after all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things."* (Matthew 6:31-32, WEB)*
We also encourage you to examine your situation with honesty. Are there areas where you can steward your resources more wisely? Are there opportunities for additional work or support from your church community? The Lord often works through the hands of His people, so do not hesitate to humbly seek help from fellow believers. At the same time, avoid the trap of anxiety or despair—these are not from the Lord. Instead, cast your cares upon Him, for He cares for you.
*"Cast all your worries on him, because he cares for you."* (1 Peter 5:7, WEB)*
*"Let your requests be made known to God in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving."* (Philippians 4:6, WEB)*
Now, let us pray together for your needs, lifting them up in the mighty name of Jesus Christ:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Your Son, Jesus Christ, who is our Mediator and Savior. Lord, we lift up this dear one to You, asking that You meet their financial needs according to Your riches in glory. You are Jehovah Jireh, the God who provides, and nothing is too difficult for You. We ask that You open doors of opportunity for them—whether through work, unexpected blessings, or the generosity of others—to cover the school fees and rent that weigh so heavily on their heart. Give them wisdom to manage what You provide and faith to trust in Your timing.
Father, if there is any area of their life where they have not fully surrendered to You, we pray You convict their heart and draw them closer to You. Let this season of need be a testament to Your faithfulness, that they may grow in dependence on You and testify of Your goodness. Remove any fear or anxiety, and fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding.
We rebuke any spirit of lack or poverty that may seek to oppress them, declaring that You, Lord, are their Provider. Let no weapon formed against them prosper, and let every financial stronghold be broken in Jesus’ name. May they walk in the assurance that You are working all things together for their good, as they love You and are called according to Your purpose.
We thank You, Father, for hearing our prayer. We trust in Your promise that when we ask anything according to Your will, You hear us, and we know we have the petitions we have asked of You. Strengthen this beloved one, Lord, and let them see Your hand move mightily in their life. In the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord, we pray. Amen.
Finally, we encourage you to continue seeking the Lord daily in prayer and in His Word. Stand firm in faith, knowing that He who began a good work in you will complete it. If you have not already, we urge you to connect with a Bible-believing church where you can find support, accountability, and encouragement. The body of Christ is meant to bear one another’s burdens, and you do not have to walk this path alone.
May the Lord bless you and keep you, and may His face shine upon you as you trust in Him.
