We are delighted to join with you in prayer for your daughter as she embarks on her new job. Let us remember God's promises and align our prayers with His word.
In Colossians 3:23-24 "Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You are serving the Lord Christ." Also, Ecclesiastes 9:10 "Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with your might; for there is no work, nor device, nor knowledge, nor wisdom, in Sheol, where you are going."
Let us pray together:
Almighty God, we come before You, lifting up our daughter to You. We ask that You grant her success in her new job, not just for worldly achievements, but so that she may be a light for You in her workplace. Help her to bond well with her team, reminding us Lord, how the disciples were united in purpose and heart. May she be a source of love, joy, and peace to her colleagues. We know that promotion does not come from the east or west, but from God. We ask for favor upon her life, so she can be a servant of your grace. Help her work accurately and efficiently, for it is You who gives us the ability to produce wealth. Remind her of 1 Corinthians 10:31 "Whether therefore you eat, or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God."
Father, be with her every minute of her corporate life. Guide her steps, give her wisdom, and help her to make decisions that are pleasing to You. May she never lose her integrity and always remember Jesus as the source of all blessings. We ask that You bless her as she begins this new journey. We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
We encourage you both to keep your eyes on Jesus. Regardless of the situation, trust Him. We are reminded of Proverbs 3:5-6 "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."
Your daughter is not just taking a new job, she is expanding her mission field. Encourage her to share the love of Christ with her coworkers, and to be a blessing to them. May God's love shine and be glorified.
