Dear God,
Thank You for this beautiful and peaceful Sunday morning and for the people that I am blessed to spend my time with. Thank You for my beautiful daughter, for the roof over my head and for meeting so many of my needs. Thank You for my wonderful and caring friends, parents and other family members.
Lord, I lay my broken marriage at Your feet for restoration.
I pray that my husband feels an overwhelming desire to renew our marriage.
As he spends this time alone without his child or his wife, speak to Kevin’s heart. Place a heavy burden on his heart for what he has destroyed---the family that he created in Your name. Open his mind to restoring what he’s lost, reuniting what has been broken. Guide him to take the steps that he needs to take to correct this situation so that mother, child and father can be restored together again under one roof in love, joy and mutual respect.
Remove the strongholds from his life that have lead to the destruction of our marriage and family. Bind and cast away the enemy that has come between husband and wife. Let the relationship between Kevin and Stephanie come under each other’s scrutiny. Let their plans and schemes fail. Place a spotlight on each others faults and shortcomings in this unholy alliance that they have created. Let each desire to make this situation right again for the good of all involved.
Lord. I ask that You bring confusion and dissatisfaction to the affairs of Kevin and Stephanie so that they never see each other again. Bring someone into Stephanie’s life for her to focus on and have a proper relationship with….Speak to her heart to stop the damage she is causing to my family and our daughter with her involvement in our lives. Bless her with a clean and honest relationship, the kind that she deserves, one that does not come with the baggage created by taking part in the destruction of a family.
It is my family, written in my heart. I just refuse to give up on them. I refuse to let them go. My child will grow up in the admonition of the Lord. Out of the abundance of my heart, my mouth speaks it....it is written....
I claim the promises of Act 16:31 for myself and my family:
'Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved, you and your household.'
I want my family to be saved. Help me Lord. I want my family and my marriage and my home to be restored.
AMEN
