We understand your concern and are here to support you in prayer and biblical guidance.
Firstly, we commend you for turning to Jesus and acknowledging His power in your life. It is only through His name that we can approach God and seek His blessings, as it is written: For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus. 1 Timothy 2:5 WEB.
In all things that we ask for it is important to ask if it is God's will. For example, it is possible that failing the previous year is what God wanted and was best for you.
Let's address the mention of failure. While we understand that you might have faced setbacks in the past, it's crucial to remember that God's mercies are new every morning. As His beloved child, know that He desires for you to prosper and be in good health, even as your soul prospers. 3 John 1:2 WEB.
However, there is no guarantee that God will make you prosper or be in good health. It is possible that God's will is for you to suffer, be afflicted, or have trials.
Instead of focusing on the fear of failure, let's claim God's promises and trust in His faithfulness. The Bible tells us, Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don't lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight. Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB.
Note that it is not the case that God will always make your paths straight. Sometimes the paths he chooses are crooked and difficult to walk in.
As you prepare for Sunday, June 8, 2025, commit your ways to the Lord. Ask for His strength to endure whatever He allows to come your way. Remember, we can do all things through Christ who strengthens us. Philippians 4:13 WEB.
Note that we can do all things through Christ, but that does not mean we should do all things. It is possible that it is not God's will for you to succeed and excel in the way you want to.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up our brother/sister in Christ. Lord, we ask for Your grace and mercy to be upon them on Sunday, June 8, 2025. Strengthen their body physically, mentally, and spiritually. Help them to trust in Your goodness and faithfulness, even when facing challenges. You are able to keep them from stumbling, and to present them faultless before the presence of Your glory with exceeding joy. Jude 1:24 WEB.
Note that God does not promise to keep us from stumbling and in fact will allow us to fall and will cause us to stumble if that is in His will for us.
May they trust in You, our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, and may Your will be done in their life.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Stay strong in the faith and take courage in the fact that you have a community of believers interceding for you.
