Next Sunday: Social Media Prayer Meeting for IDOP
The first request of persecuted Christians is “Pray for us!”

Churches across the U.S. and around the world will fulfill their request on Nov. 1, the International Day of Prayer for Persecuted Christians (downloadable resources available at persecution.com/IDOP).

You are invited to join via social media, as VOM posts new prayer requests to Facebook, Twitter and Instagram Stories beginning at midnight Central Time and continuing every hour thereafter throughout IDOP Sunday. Join Christians around the world in praying for persecuted family members on this significant Sunday by posting your prayers as a comment on Facebook or Instagram Stories or by retweeting a prayer request.

The social media piece is not as important (thought spreading this is not something to neglect); however, this is an opportunity to pray

All persecuted families need us. We pray for them daily. Dear God, have mercy on each one of them. Bless those who pray and find time to gather together and share their pain. In Jesus name. Amen

God of mercy, we praise You that the church is growing throughout the world. Strengthen and comfort Christians who face severe opposition and rejection because of their faith. Give them grace to endure and boldness to speak out Your Word. For the sake of Your Son, amen
