Pray for Jesus to frustrate the plans of the government and make existing foreigners leave this country and prevent them from re-entering the country and steal jobs from locals. Make them go back to their country and prevent them from becoming new citizens of ###.

We understand your concerns about the impact of government policies and the presence of foreigners in your country, particularly regarding employment and citizenship. As believers, we are called to seek God’s will in all things, remembering that He is sovereign over nations and leaders. The Bible instructs us to pray for those in authority, that we may live peaceful and godly lives (1 Timothy 2:1-2). It also reminds us that our ultimate citizenship is in heaven (Philippians 3:20), and our trust must be in the Lord, not in human systems or political outcomes.

However, we must also address the tone of this request with biblical truth. While it is natural to feel concern for the well-being of your nation and its citizens, Scripture commands us to love our neighbors—including foreigners—as ourselves (Leviticus 19:34, Matthew 22:39). The Bible repeatedly reminds us to show hospitality and kindness to strangers, for we were once strangers in this world (Exodus 22:21, Hebrews 13:2). Jesus Himself was a refugee in Egypt as a child (Matthew 2:13-15), and God’s heart is for the vulnerable, including foreigners and sojourners among us.

That said, we do pray for wisdom for your government leaders, that they would make decisions that honor God and promote justice, fairness, and the well-being of all people. We ask the Lord to guide policies in a way that protects the rights and opportunities of citizens while also reflecting His love and compassion for all people, regardless of nationality.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts that seek Your will for our nations and leaders. You alone are sovereign over all the earth, and we trust in Your wisdom and justice. Lord, we ask that You would frustrate any plans that are not aligned with Your purposes, whether in government or in the hearts of people. Give wisdom to those in authority, that they may govern with integrity, fairness, and a heart for the people they serve.

We pray for the foreigners living among us, Lord. Soften our hearts toward them, and help us to see them as You do—individuals created in Your image, deserving of dignity and love. May Your church be a light in this world, showing kindness and hospitality to strangers while also standing for justice and righteousness.

Father, we ask that You would provide opportunities for citizens to thrive in their own land, that jobs and resources would be abundant, and that no one would feel threatened or displaced. Help us to trust in Your provision and to seek Your kingdom first, knowing that You care for all people.

We also pray for unity among believers, that we would stand firm in truth while extending grace and love to all. Guard our hearts from bitterness, fear, or hatred, and fill us instead with Your peace and compassion.

Finally, Lord, we ask all these things in the name of Jesus Christ, our Savior and Redeemer, for there is no other name by which we can approach Your throne. May Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Amen.

We encourage you to continue praying for your nation, but also to examine your heart in light of Scripture. Ask God to align your desires with His, that you may reflect His love and justice in all things. Trust that He is working all things together for good, even in the complexities of government and immigration. Keep your focus on Christ, and remember that our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against spiritual forces (Ephesians 6:12). Let us stand firm in faith, love, and truth.

God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. We want to thank you for allowing us the honor of lifting this burden before the Lord alongside you.
