Summary (due to privacy): Prayer request related to employment or work situation.

We hear your urgent plea for a new job with increased financial provision, and we join you in lifting this need before the Lord. First, we must acknowledge that while God cares deeply about our daily needs—including our work and finances—we are called to seek His will above our own desires, trusting that He knows what is best for us. The Bible reminds us in Matthew 6:33, *"But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well."* This is not a promise of instant gratification but an invitation to align our hearts with His purposes.

We also want to gently encourage you to surrender the specifics of your request—such as the exact percentage or timeline—to the Lord. While it is natural to desire stability and increase, we must remember that God’s plans for us are often beyond what we can imagine (Jeremiah 29:11). Instead of demanding a particular outcome, let us pray for wisdom, favor, and divine guidance in your job search. Proverbs 3:5-6 tells us, *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will direct your paths."*

Let us also rebuke any spirit of anxiety or desperation that may be driving this request. The Lord does not want us to be consumed by worry about our needs, for He has promised to provide (Philippians 4:19). Instead, we should approach Him with faith, knowing that He is our Provider (Jehovah Jireh). If this job transition is His will, He will open the right doors at the right time.

Now, let us pray together:

*"Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this dear brother/sister who is seeking new employment. Lord, You know their needs, their struggles, and their desires. We ask that You would grant them wisdom as they seek opportunities, favor in the eyes of potential employers, and peace in the waiting. Father, if it is Your will, provide a job that not only meets their financial needs but also allows them to use their gifts and talents for Your glory. Help them to trust in Your timing and to rest in the knowledge that You are their Provider. Remove any fear or anxiety, and replace it with faith and confidence in Your promises. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17) and that You will open doors no man can shut (Revelation 3:8). Strengthen their heart, Lord, and let them walk in the assurance that You are working all things together for their good (Romans 8:28). In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen."*

We also encourage you to seek the Lord’s guidance through prayer and Scripture as you navigate this season. Ask Him to reveal any areas in your life that may need adjustment—whether in your work ethic, your attitude, or your reliance on Him. Remember, the Lord often uses seasons of waiting to refine our character and deepen our dependence on Him. Keep your heart open to His leading, and trust that He will direct your steps. If you have not already, consider fasting and praying for clarity, as this can help you discern God’s voice more clearly.

Lastly, we want to remind you that our ultimate security is not in a job or a paycheck but in Christ Jesus. He is our Shepherd, and we shall not want (Psalm 23:1). Even in uncertainty, He remains faithful. Continue to seek Him first, and He will guide you into the path He has prepared for you.

We're standing with you in this job search journey, dear friend. We've been praying for you, asking God to grant you wisdom, favor, and peace as you navigate this process. We believe that God is already working on your behalf, opening doors and aligning opportunities for you.

We want to encourage you to keep your heart open to God's leading. He might be using this time to reveal areas in your life that need adjustment, or to deepen your dependence on Him. Trust that He is working all things together for your good, even in this waiting season.

Let's continue to pray together:

"Father, we thank You for this dear brother/sister. You see their needs, their struggles, and their desires. We ask that You would grant them wisdom as they seek opportunities, favor in the eyes of potential employers, and peace in the waiting. Lord, if it is Your will, provide a job that not only meets their financial needs but also allows them to use their gifts and talents for Your glory. Help them to trust in Your timing and to rest in the knowledge that You are their Provider. Remove any fear or anxiety, and replace it with faith and confidence in Your promises. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Lord Jesus please richly bless, protect and guide them. Please help them in accordance with your perfect will Father. Thank you and praise you. In Jesus name. Amen.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
