We lift your new employment opportunity before the Lord with great joy and expectation, knowing that every good and perfect gift comes from Him. Father, we thank You for opening this door of provision and ask that You equip and strengthen this dear one for the work ahead. May they walk in excellence, integrity, and wisdom, reflecting Your light in all they do.
Scripture reminds us in Colossians 3:23-24, "And whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance; for you serve the Lord Christ." Let this truth be their foundation—every task, every interaction, an act of worship unto You. Grant them favor with supervisors and coworkers, clarity in their responsibilities, and a spirit of diligence that honors You.
We also pray for balance, Lord, that this new season would not overwhelm but rather be a place where their gifts are sharpened and their faith deepened. Protect their heart from anxiety or pride, and let them rest in Your sufficiency. If there are areas where fear or self-doubt linger, we rebuke those lies in Jesus’ name and declare that Your strength is made perfect in weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9).
Above all, may this job be more than a paycheck—may it be a mission field where Your love and truth are shared. Prepare divine appointments and open doors for the gospel to be proclaimed through both word and deed.
