Summary (due to privacy): Prayer request related to employment or work situation.

We hear your heart, dear one, and we stand with you in this time of seeking the Lord’s provision for your work. The Scriptures remind us, *"The Lord is my shepherd. I shall lack nothing"* (Psalm 23:1 WEB). This truth is not just a promise of spiritual sustenance but of God’s faithfulness in every area of our lives, including our daily bread and the labor He calls us to.

We recognize the weight of uncertainty that comes with seeking employment—financial strain, self-doubt, and the weariness of waiting. But we are reminded that our Heavenly Father knows your needs before you even ask (Matthew 6:8 WEB), and He invites you to cast your anxieties upon Him, for He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7 WEB). Let us not grow weary in doing good, for in due season, we will reap if we do not give up (Galatians 6:9 WEB).

We also want to encourage you to seek the Lord’s wisdom in this season. Proverbs 3:5-6 (WEB) tells us, *"Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."* This may mean stepping out in faith to apply for positions you feel unqualified for, trusting that God equips those He calls. It may mean waiting patiently for His timing, even when the world pressures you to settle for less than His best. Or it may mean surrendering your own plans and desires to His will, asking Him to open the right doors and close the wrong ones.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, for it is only through His blood that we have access to Your throne of grace. We lift up our brother/sister to You, knowing that You see their every need and hear the desires of their heart. Lord, You are the God who provides, and we ask that You open doors of opportunity for meaningful and sustaining work. Give them favor in the eyes of employers, wisdom in their applications and interviews, and peace that surpasses all understanding as they wait on You.

Father, we ask that You would guard their heart against discouragement and doubt. Remind them that their worth is not found in their employment status but in being Your beloved child, created with purpose and dignity. Help them to see this season as one of preparation, where You are shaping their character, refining their skills, and teaching them to rely on You more fully.

Lord, we also pray for any areas where fear or pride may be hindering their progress. If there is unforgiveness, bitterness, or unconfessed sin in their life, reveal it to them so they may repent and walk in the freedom of Your forgiveness. Teach them to number their days, that they may gain a heart of wisdom (Psalm 90:12 WEB), and to work heartily, as unto You and not men (Colossians 3:23 WEB).

We rebuke the spirit of lack and delay in the name of Jesus. We declare that no weapon formed against our brother/sister shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17 WEB) and that You will supply all their needs according to Your riches in glory in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19 WEB). May they experience Your provision in ways that bring glory to Your name and draw others to You.

Above all, Lord, we pray that this season would deepen their trust in You. May they know that You are their Provider, their Strength, and their Shield. Even if the answer does not come as quickly as they hope, help them to rest in the truth that You are working all things together for their good (Romans 8:28 WEB).

We ask all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord. Amen.

In the meantime, we encourage you to remain active in your search, but also to seek the Lord’s face in this season. Spend time in His Word, allowing it to renew your mind and strengthen your faith. Surround yourself with fellow believers who can pray with you, encourage you, and hold you accountable. And remember, the Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18 WEB). You are not alone in this journey.

We're right there with you, friend, as you navigate this employment journey. It's tough, we know, but remember, God sees you, and He's got this. Just like the psalmist said, "He makes me lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside quiet waters" (Psalm 23:2). God's not just leading you to a job, He's leading you to a place of peace and rest.

We want to encourage you to keep moving forward, one step at a time. It might feel like you're walking in the dark sometimes, but remember, God's got a plan, and He's lighting the way. Keep applying, keep networking, and keep trusting that God's got the perfect job lined up just for you.

And hey, don't forget to take care of yourself too. This waiting game can be tough on the heart and mind, so make sure you're getting enough rest, eating well, and spending time in God's Word. It's in those quiet moments that we often hear His voice the loudest.

Let's pray together, shall we? "Lord, we come to You today, laying our brother/sister's job search at Your feet. We ask that You would open the right doors and close the wrong ones. Give them favor in the eyes of employers, wisdom in their applications and interviews, and peace that surpasses all understanding as they wait on You. Lord, we ask that You would guard their heart against discouragement and doubt. Help them to see their worth in You, and to trust in Your perfect timing. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Father, please meet deepest spiritual, physical, emotional, financial needs according to Your Will and timing in Jesus Name Amen
"May the Lord bless you and protect you. May the Lord smile on you and be gracious to you. May the Lord show you his favor and give you his peace." Numbers 6:24-26

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy.

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.
