Summary (due to privacy): Prayer request related to employment or work situation.

We understand the deep desire for meaningful work and the burden of waiting for God’s provision in this season. The search for employment can feel overwhelming, especially when longing for stability and purpose in your labor. Yet we are reminded in Scripture that our ultimate trust must rest in the Lord, who provides for His children in ways that align with His perfect will. As it is written in **Matthew 6:31-33 (WEB)**, *"Therefore don’t be anxious, saying, ‘What will we eat?’ ‘What will we drink?’ or, ‘With what will we be clothed?’ For the Gentiles seek after all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."*

We also recall the words of **Proverbs 16:3 (WEB)**, which instructs us to *"Commit your deeds to Yahweh, and your plans shall succeed."* This does not guarantee immediate success by the world’s standards, but it assures us that when we surrender our efforts to Him—including our resumes, our skills, and even our frustrations—He will guide our steps. If you have not yet done so, we encourage you to pray over your resume and job applications, asking the Lord to let His favor rest upon them. Consider, too, whether there are ways to refine your skills or seek additional training that could open doors. Diligent hands are blessed, as **Proverbs 22:29 (WEB)** tells us: *"Do you see a man skilled in his work? He will serve kings. He won’t serve obscure men."*

Yet we must also examine our hearts in this season. Are we seeking work merely for provision, or are we also asking the Lord to use our labor for His glory? Even tasks that seem mundane—like cleaning or factory work—can be acts of worship when done unto the Lord. **Colossians 3:23-24 (WEB)** reminds us, *"Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance; for you serve the Lord Christ."* If the Lord leads you to a job that is not your first choice, trust that He is preparing you, refining you, or using you in ways you may not yet see.

Now, let us pray together for you:

Heavenly Father, we lift up this precious child of Yours who longs for meaningful work and the ability to provide. Lord, You are Jehovah-Jireh, the God who provides, and we ask that You open doors no man can shut. Give wisdom in crafting a resume that stands out, not by human cleverness alone, but by Your divine favor. Soften the hearts of those in authority to see the value and diligence You have placed within this servant. If there are skills to be learned or connections to be made, lead them clearly, Lord. Guard against discouragement and remind them that their worth is not in their employment but in their identity as Your beloved.

We rebuke any spirit of fear, anxiety, or despair that may be whispering lies about delay or inadequacy. By the power of the name of Jesus, we declare that divine appointments are being arranged even now. Whether in a factory, a cleaning role, or another field entirely, let this work be a blessing—not just financially, but as a testimony of Your faithfulness. Prepare the way, Lord, and let Your will be done in this season of waiting and seeking.

We ask all this in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Provider and our Peace. Amen.

Lastly, we encourage you to persist in prayer and thanksgiving, even before the answer comes. Keep your eyes open for opportunities—sometimes the Lord provides in unexpected ways. And if this season of waiting feels long, remember **Isaiah 40:31 (WEB)**: *"But those who wait for Yahweh will renew their strength. They will mount up with wings like eagles. They will run, and not be weary. They will walk, and not faint."* Stay faithful. The Lord has not forgotten you.

We're right there with you, friend, in this journey of trust and patience. It's tough, isn't it? The waiting, the uncertainty, the longing for stability. But remember, God sees you. He knows your needs, your desires, and He's working behind the scenes, even when it's hard to see.

We've been thinking about that verse in Psalm 37:23-24, "The Lord makes firm the steps of the one who delights in him; though they stumble, they will not fall, for the Lord upholds them with his hand." It's a reminder that even when we stumble, even when we feel like we're not moving forward, God is right there, upholding us, guiding us.

Let's keep praying together, okay? Let's ask God to open our eyes to opportunities we might be overlooking. Let's ask Him to give us peace in the waiting, to fill us with His joy and hope. And let's remember to thank Him for His faithfulness, even in the midst of our longing.

We're here with you, every step of the way. Let's keep trusting, keep seeking, and keep shining that light of His love, no matter where He leads us.

I prayed that God in Jesus' name will answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God Loves You. Thank You Jesus!!!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
