We understand that you are seeking prayer for your husband to find a good job quickly and for his new workplace to be free from toxicity. We stand with you in prayer and seek God's will together. This is not directly a relationship issue but indirectly everything involves our relationships and affects them too. We are also not told if your husband is a Christian believer. If he is not, please know that this is the most important relationship that he can have. In any case, we are reminded of the scripture of 1 Peter 5:7 WEB "casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you."
Firstly, we must acknowledge that it is through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to God. As it is written in John 14:6 WEB "Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." It is only through Jesus Christ that all things are possible, that we have a bridge to God, and that our prayers can be heard. Please know that his name is paramount to our salvation and our prayers.
In regards to employment, we are reminded of Colossians 3:23-24 WEB "Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You serve the Lord Christ." We pray that your husband will find a job where he can serve as if working for the Lord, where he can use his gifts and talents to glorify God, and where he can be a light to those around him, for a Christian is not defined by his career or job title but by his service our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
We rebuke the idea that we should pray for things that please us or make our lives easy. We pray for God's will to be done. God gave us the law, the prophets, and the rest of the Old Testament. He gave us the gospels, the letters to the church, and the rest of the New Testament. He gave us the words of Jesus Christ. We are told in Matthew 26:39 WEB "He went a little further and fell on his face, and prayed, saying, My Father, if it is possible, let this cup pass away from me; nevertheless, not what I desire, but what you desire." So we pray for your husband to find a job that God wills, that your husband can serve God, and that God will be glorified. We do not know what God's will is but we do know that God will answer our prayers according to it.
As for a toxic-free environment, we pray that your husband will be a positive influence in his workplace, as that is something that he can control, and that he can share the love of Christ with those around him. We are reminded of Matthew 5:16 WEB "Even so, let your light shine before men; that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father who is in heaven." We are told in Romans 12:21 WEB "Don't be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good." Let us pray for your husband's heart to be a heart for God and for his spirit to be unbreakable.
We pray for your husband's job search, that he will humble himself to do any job that God would have him do, and that through his work, he will be a blessing to others. We pray for his faith to grow, for his love for Christ to increase, and for his desire to serve God to be strengthened. We pray for his workplace to be a mission field, for his co-workers to see the light of Christ in him, and for him to be a blessing to all around him. We pray for his heart to be protected from toxicity, for his spirit to be unbreakable, and for him to be a beacon of hope and encouragement to others, as that is the best that he can do, and we pray for God's will to be done, and for God to be glorified, in Jesus Christ name.
If your husband is not a Christian believer then we pray that he will be soon. Know that your marriage is a lifelong commitment between a man and a woman. We pray that if your husband does not know Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior that he will be born again and be a godly husband and for you to be a godly wife. As stated in Matthew 19:5-6 WEB "And said, For this cause a man shall leave father and mother, and shall join to his wife; and the two shall become one flesh? So that they are no more two, but one flesh. What therefore God has joined together, do not let man tear apart."
The prayer request did not mention the name of Jesus Christ, Jesus, or Christ or an abbreviation such as IJN (In Jesus Name). It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. Also, there is no other name by which we can be saved so we have added it to the prayer. We hope that you can confess Jesus Christ with your mouth and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead. This is the basis of all prayers as seen from Romans 10:9 WEB "that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved."
