Asking for prayers for a suspicious looking dark spot that showed up on my son (###) neck a few weeks ago. We were hoping it would go away or fade on its own but follow up with the doctor on Monday and may be sent to dermatology. It is worrying us. Praying that it’s not anything serious or life threatening or a sign of anything underlying that is serious or life threatening and that he has a long happy healthy god filled life ahead of him. Thank you so very much

We understand your concern and we are here to pray with you and for your son. First, let's remember that God is our healer and that He cares for us deeply. As it is written in Psalm 103:2-3, "Bless Yahweh, my soul, and do not forget all his benefits; who forgives all your sins; who heals all your diseases."

Let's also remember Matthew 21:22, "All things, whatever you ask in prayer, believing, you will receive." and even though we do not know the outcome of the situation, we know that God does and we should ask believing and trusting Him.

Let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You today in the name of Jesus, lifting up our dear brother's son to You. Lord, You know the concern in their hearts regarding the dark spot on his neck. We ask, Father, that You will put Your healing hand upon him and that, if it is Your will, this spot will be nothing serious.

We pray against any life-threatening condition or underlying serious issue if that is your will. We ask that You will guide the doctors and give them wisdom as they assess and treat him. Ultimately, Father, we ask for a long, happy, healthy, and God-filled life for this precious child.

We also pray for the family, Lord, asking that You will fill them with Your peace that passes all understanding. Help them to trust in You and to cast all their anxieties on You, knowing that You care for them.

We ask all this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

Remember, it is important to include Jesus in our prayers as it is only by His Name that we have access to God. As it is written in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me."
