We understand that you're facing a challenging situation with your family, and we want you to know that you are not alone. God is with you, and we are here to support you in prayer and counsel.
Firstly, we want to commend you for your desire to honor your father and care for your family. It is important to remember the fifth commandment, "Honor your father and your mother, as Yahweh your God has commanded you" (Deuteronomy 5:16 WEB). However, honoring your father does not mean you should endure mistreatment or bear the burden alone.
It is clear that you are tired and need relief. Jesus said, "Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart; and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light" (Matthew 11:28-30 WEB). We encourage you to cast your burdens upon Jesus and seek His strength and wisdom in this situation.
Regarding your father's anger and self-righteous spirit, we must remember that our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against the spiritual forces of wickedness (Ephesians 6:12 WEB). We join you in praying for his deliverance, rebuking the spirit of self-righteousness, and asking God to soften his heart. Pray for him as Jesus taught, "Love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you" (Matthew 5:44 WEB).
As for caring for your grandmother and mother, remember that God will equip you with the strength and resources needed to fulfill your responsibilities. "But those who wait for Yahweh shall renew their strength. They shall mount up with wings like eagles. They shall run, and not be weary. They shall walk, and not faint" (Isaiah 40:31 WEB).
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up our brother/sister in Christ who is facing emotional challenges and family stress. Lord, we ask for Your intervention. Soften their father's heart, and deliver him from the spirit of self-righteousness and anger in the mighty name of Jesus. Help our brother/sister to find peace, strength, and wisdom in this situation. Equip them with the resources needed to care for their family, and grant them the rest that only You can provide. We ask this all in the precious name of Jesus Christ.
We encourage you to continue praying and trusting in God. He is faithful and will see you through this challenging time. Remember, "The righteous cry out, and Yahweh hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles" (Psalm 34:17 WEB).
Lastly, we did not see any reference to Jesus in your request. We only have access to God and salvation by Jesus Christ. "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" (Acts 4:12 WEB).
