We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up this request for restoration and improvement. First, we must address the foundation of all prayer—it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father. Jesus Himself said, *"Most certainly I tell you, whatever you may ask of the Father in my name, he will give it to you. Until now, you have asked nothing in my name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be made full."* (John 16:23-24). Without Christ as the cornerstone of our prayers, our words lack the authority and power that come from the One who conquered sin and death.
We also notice a concerning pattern in the language used—speaking decrees, demands, and commands into existence as if we hold the power of creation. Scripture is clear that God alone is the Creator, and we are His servants. *"For by him all things were created, in the heavens and on the earth, things visible and things invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers; all things have been created through him, and for him."* (Colossians 1:16). We must humble ourselves before the Lord, acknowledging that He alone orders our steps and provides for our needs according to His perfect will. Let us not confuse faith with presumption, for *"The heart is deceitful above all things, and it is exceedingly corrupt: who can know it?"* (Jeremiah 17:9). True faith surrenders to God’s sovereignty, trusting that He knows what is best for us.
Now, we lift up the deep desire for healing—both emotionally and mentally. The request for the restoration of medication, particularly Fluoxetine (Prozac) and a mood stabilizer, reflects a genuine struggle with mental health. We pray that the Lord would guide the hands of doctors and professionals involved in this care, that He would open the right doors for proper treatment, and that He would grant wisdom in managing these challenges. *"The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit."* (Psalm 34:18). We ask for His peace to guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus, for *"God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control."* (2 Timothy 1:7).
However, we must also address the request for a relationship with a "cute guy" or a "straight normal guy." While the longing for companionship is natural, we must ensure that our desires align with God’s design for marriage—a covenant between one man and one woman, rooted in Christ. *"He who finds a wife finds a good thing, and obtains favor of the Lord."* (Proverbs 18:22). If this is a desire for a godly spouse, we pray that the Lord would prepare your heart for a man who loves the Lord above all else, who will cherish you as Christ cherishes the Church (Ephesians 5:25). But if this is a pursuit of worldly validation or fleeting affection, we must rebuke that spirit of insecurity and remind you that your worth is found in Christ alone. *"For you are of God, little children, and have overcome them; because greater is he who is in you than he who is in the world."* (1 John 4:4).
We also rebuke the spirits of jealousy, hatred, and spiritual warfare that have been mentioned. While we do not deny the reality of spiritual battle, we must not give the enemy more credit than he is due. *"You are of God, little children, and have overcome them; because greater is he who is in you than he who is in the world."* (1 John 4:4). We bind every lying spirit and command them to flee in the name of Jesus. We declare that no weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17) and that the Lord Himself will fight for you (Exodus 14:14).
As for the distractions of spam, scams, and constant interruptions, we pray for divine protection over your communications. May the Lord shield your mind and devices from the enemy’s schemes, and may He grant you discernment to recognize and reject every form of deception. *"Above all, taking up the shield of faith, with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the evil one."* (Ephesians 6:16).
Finally, we pray for your heart to be filled with the love of Christ—love that casts out fear, love that is patient and kind, love that does not envy or boast (1 Corinthians 13:4-7). May you find your security in Him alone, knowing that He has plans for your welfare, not for evil, to give you a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11).
Heavenly Father, we come before You with humility and reverence, lifting up this precious child of Yours. We ask for Your healing touch—emotionally, mentally, and spiritually. Restore what has been lost, Lord, and guide every decision regarding treatment and care. We pray for godly relationships that honor You, and we rebuke every spirit of insecurity, jealousy, and fear in Jesus’ name. Protect this one from every distraction and deception, and fill their heart with Your perfect peace. May they find their identity and worth in Christ alone, and may Your will be done in every area of their life. We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, our Savior and Redeemer. Amen.
