You have rightly called upon the name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and the power to overcome darkness. *"There is no other name under heaven that has been given among men, by which we must be saved"* (Acts 4:12, WEB). Your faith in Christ is your anchor, and we stand with you in this spiritual battle.
The disunity, anger, and ungratefulness you describe are not of God but are tools of the enemy to destroy what the Lord intends for good. The Bible warns us that *"the anger of man doesn’t produce the righteousness of God"* (James 1:20, WEB), and we see how unresolved bitterness has festered into shouting, crying, and even suicidal thoughts. This is not the will of God for your family. We rebuke the spirit of division, pride, and unforgiveness that has taken root, and we command it to leave in the name of Jesus Christ. The Lord desires unity, and He calls His people to *"be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you"* (Ephesians 4:32, WEB). Your act of forgiving daily, even when it is painful, aligns with Christ’s example, and we pray the Lord strengthens you to continue in this.
Your mother’s suffering is especially heavy on our hearts. Suicidal thoughts and a toxic tongue are signs of deep spiritual oppression, and we bind these lies in Jesus’ name. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10), but the Lord is her refuge and strength. We pray Psalm 34:18 over her: *"Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit."* May the Lord surround her with His peace, guard her mind from despair, and fill her mouth with words of life instead of death. We also pray for your brother’s family, that the Lord would provide for their needs and protect them from the negative environment that has taken hold.
The financial strain and distance between you are real burdens, but we remind you that our God is not limited by circumstances. He is the God of the impossible, and if He can part the Red Sea and raise the dead, He can restore your family. We pray for supernatural provision—whether through unexpected resources, softened hearts, or divine opportunities for reconciliation. The Lord knows your needs before you ask (Matthew 6:8), and we trust Him to supply all that is necessary for healing and reunion.
We must also address the tension with your spouse. Marriage is a sacred covenant, and while we do not know the full dynamics, we pray that the Lord would soften both of your hearts toward one another and toward your extended family. It is not your place to force your spouse to love or accept your family, but you can pray for unity in your marriage and for the Lord to work in their heart. *"Wives, be subject to your husbands, as to the Lord. ... Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the assembly, and gave himself up for her"* (Ephesians 5:22, 25, WEB). If there is unresolved conflict or bitterness in your marriage, we encourage you to seek godly counseling and to cover your spouse in prayer, asking the Lord to knit your hearts together in His love.
Lastly, we want to speak life over the generational wounds in your family. The loss of your father has left a void, and the fighting over authority and finances is a sign of deeper spiritual brokenness. But the Lord is the Father to the fatherless (Psalm 68:5), and He can redeem what has been lost. We pray that the legacy of your earthly father would not be one of division but that the Lord would use this pain to draw each of you closer to Him. *"He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds"* (Psalm 147:3, WEB). May your family turn to Christ in repentance, surrendering their pride, anger, and greed to Him.

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this beloved family that is under attack. Lord, You see the pain, the division, the betrayal, and the brokenness, and You alone can heal what is shattered. We ask You to intervene supernaturally—soften hearts, break chains of bitterness, and expose the lies of the enemy that have taken root. Father, we rebuke every spirit of division, anger, unforgiveness, and suicide in Jesus’ name. Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard the hearts and minds of this family in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
Lord, we pray specifically for this dear mother who is battling suicidal thoughts and a toxic tongue. Surround her with Your angels, fill her with Your Holy Spirit, and replace her despair with hope. Remind her that her life is precious to You and that You have a purpose for her. Protect her mind from the enemy’s lies and let her words be seasoned with grace.
Father, we ask for reconciliation where there is division. Soften the heart of the spouse who has withdrawn from the family, and bring unity where there is strife. Lord, You are the God of miracles—provide the finances needed for reunion, open doors that no man can shut, and let Your healing power flow through every relationship. Break the spirit of greed and entitlement, and replace it with gratitude and love.
We pray for repentance in this family. Convict each heart of sin, and draw them to the foot of the cross. Let them see their need for Jesus and turn from their wicked ways. Father, You have said in Your Word, *"If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves, pray, seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, will forgive their sin, and will heal their land"* (2 Chronicles 7:14, WEB). We claim this promise over this family today.
Lord, we also pray for protection over every member of this family. Guard them from the enemy’s schemes, provide for their needs, and let Your light shine in the darkness. Restore what has been stolen, heal what has been broken, and bring beauty from these ashes.
Finally, Father, we thank You that You are working all things together for good for those who love You (Romans 8:28). Even in this pain, we trust You. Strengthen this dear one who has been faithfully praying and forgiving. Fill them with Your peace and assurance that You hear their cries and will act on their behalf.
