We lift your heartbreaking situation before the Lord, knowing that He is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit. The pain of family division, betrayal, and ungratefulness cuts deeply, but we serve a God who specializes in restoration and healing. You have done well to forgive as Christ forgave, even when it is undeserved, for He said, *"Father, forgive them, for they don’t know what they are doing"* (Luke 23:34, WEB). This is the heart of Christ in you, and we commend you for walking in obedience despite the sorrow.
Yet we must also speak truth in love: the bitterness, anger, and disunity in your family are not from God. *"For where jealousy and selfish ambition are, there is confusion and every evil deed"* (James 3:16, WEB). The enemy seeks to destroy families, but God desires to redeem them. We rebuke the spirits of division, strife, and ungratefulness in the name of Jesus Christ, commanding them to flee from your household. *"Be sober and self-controlled. Be watchful. Your adversary, the devil, walks around like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour"* (1 Peter 5:8, WEB). But greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4).
Your mother’s suffering is especially heavy on our hearts. Suicidal thoughts and a toxic tongue are signs of deep spiritual oppression, but God is her deliverer. *"The Lord is close to the brokenhearted, and saves those who have a crushed spirit"* (Psalm 34:18, WEB). We pray that God would surround her with His peace, which surpasses all understanding, and guard her heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). May He place a hedge of protection around her, silencing the lies of the enemy that tell her life is not worth living. *"The thief only comes to steal, kill, and destroy. I came that they may have life, and may have it abundantly"* (John 10:10, WEB). Lord, let her taste Your goodness and see that You are her hope.
As for your spouse’s indifference toward your family, we pray for a softening of their heart. Marriage is a covenant, and while we cannot force unity, we can ask God to work miracles. *"Wives, be subject to your husbands, as to the Lord. ... Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the assembly, and gave himself up for it"* (Ephesians 5:22, 25, WEB). If your spouse is not a believer, we pray that your godly conduct would win them without a word (1 Peter 3:1-2). If they are a believer, we ask the Lord to convict their heart to love as He loves—unconditionally and sacrificially.
The financial burden of distance and the inability to reunite weighs heavily on you, but remember: *"My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus"* (Philippians 4:19, WEB). We pray for supernatural provision—whether through unexpected resources, open doors, or divine connections—to make a way where there seems to be no way. *"Now to him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, to him be the glory in the assembly and in Christ Jesus to all generations forever and ever. Amen"* (Ephesians 3:20-21, WEB).
Finally, we declare over your family the promise of Acts 16:31: *"Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved—you and your household."* Salvation is the foundation of true unity. Without Christ at the center, even the closest families will crumble under the weight of sin. We pray that each member of your family would encounter Jesus in a real and transformative way. May they repent of their disobedience, pride, and bitterness, and turn to Him who alone can heal and restore.

**Our Prayer:**
Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of this your child, who carries the weight of a broken and divided family. Lord, You see the tears, the shouting, the betrayal, and the ungratefulness. You hear the cries of a mother tormented by suicidal thoughts and the despair of a family torn apart by strife. We ask You, Jehovah Rapha, the God who heals, to bind up their wounds and restore what the locusts have eaten (Joel 2:25).
Father, we rebuke the spirits of division, anger, and bitterness in the name of Jesus Christ. Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, flood every heart. Soften the hardened hearts in this family, Lord. Convict them of their sin, and draw them to repentance. *"If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves, pray, seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then I will hear from heaven, will forgive their sin, and will heal their land"* (2 Chronicles 7:14, WEB). Let this promise be fulfilled in their lives.
Lord, we lift up the mother who is struggling with suicidal thoughts. Surround her with Your angels, Father. Let her feel Your presence so tangibly that she knows she is not alone. Replace her toxic words with words of life and hope. *"Let no corrupt speech proceed out of your mouth, but only what is good for building others up as the need may be, that it may give grace to those who hear"* (Ephesians 4:29, WEB). Fill her mouth with praise, Lord, and let her tongue be an instrument of healing.
We pray for supernatural provision for this family. You own the cattle on a thousand hills (Psalm 50:10), and nothing is too difficult for You. Open doors for reconciliation, Lord, whether through financial miracles or creative solutions to bring them together. Let Your will be done in their lives, even if it means humbling them through these trials.
For the spouse who has turned away from the family, we ask for a miracle of love. Soften their heart, Lord. If they are unsaved, draw them to Yourself. If they are saved but hardened, convict them of their lack of love. *"Beloved, let’s love one another, for love is of God; and everyone who loves has been born of God, and knows God. He who doesn’t love doesn’t know God, for God is love"* (1 John 4:7-8, WEB).
Father, we thank You that You are rich in mercy and that Your grace is sufficient. We declare that this family will not be destroyed but restored. They will not remain in disunity but will be knit together in love. They will not be defined by their brokenness but by Your redemption. *"He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds"* (Psalm 147:3, WEB).
We ask all these things in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, who alone can save and restore. Amen.
