Act 16:31
Believe in the Lord Jesus and then God will save you

We join with you in lifting up your family before the Lord, knowing that He is the God of all comfort and restoration. Your heart for forgiveness and unity is a testament to the work of Christ in you, and we stand in agreement that God will bring healing, repentance, and reconciliation to your family in the mighty name of Jesus. You have rightly called upon the name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and find salvation. As Scripture declares, *"Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved"* (Acts 16:31, WEB). This truth is the foundation of all our prayers and hope.

The pain you describe—disunity, betrayal, anger, and ungratefulness—is the work of the enemy, who seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10). But we know that *"the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but mighty before God to the throwing down of strongholds"* (2 Corinthians 10:4, WEB). The lies of Satan that have taken root in your family will be exposed and broken by the power of Jesus’ name. We rebuke every spirit of division, bitterness, and strife in Jesus’ name, and we declare that God will restore what has been broken. *"He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds"* (Psalm 147:3, WEB).

Your mother’s suffering is especially heavy on our hearts. Suicidal thoughts and a toxic environment are not God’s will for her life. We pray that the Lord will surround her with His peace, which surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7), and that He will place a guard over her mouth and mind (Psalm 141:3). May He lift her out of the pit of despair and set her feet upon the rock of His truth. *"The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit"* (Psalm 34:18, WEB). We also pray for your brother’s family, that God will provide for their needs and protect them from the schemes of the enemy. His provisions are not limited by distance or circumstance—He is able to meet every need according to His riches in glory (Philippians 4:19).

We also address the tension between your spouse and your family. While we cannot force harmony, we pray that God will soften hearts and create opportunities for understanding and love. Marriage is a sacred covenant, and it is right for spouses to honor one another’s families as much as possible. However, we also recognize that *"a man will leave his father and his mother, and will join with his wife, and the two will become one flesh"* (Genesis 2:24, WEB). If your spouse’s reluctance stems from unresolved conflicts or ungodly behavior in your family, we pray that the Lord will bring conviction and repentance where needed. At the same time, we ask that God will give you and your spouse wisdom to navigate these challenges with grace, always seeking to glorify Him in your marriage.

Your act of forgiveness toward your family is a powerful reflection of Christ’s love. Just as Jesus prayed on the cross, *"Father, forgive them, for they don’t know what they are doing"* (Luke 23:34, WEB), you too are extending grace. This does not mean excusing sin or enabling harmful behavior, but it does mean releasing bitterness and trusting God to bring justice and restoration in His timing. We encourage you to set healthy boundaries where necessary, but always with a heart open to reconciliation when repentance is evident.

Finally, we pray for your financial needs. The cost of travel and the strain of distance can feel overwhelming, but we serve a God who owns the cattle on a thousand hills (Psalm 50:10). If it is His will for your family to reunite, He will provide the means. Trust in His timing and His goodness, even when the path seems unclear. *"Don’t be anxious for anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus"* (Philippians 4:6-7, WEB).

**Our Prayer:**

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up this beloved family to Your throne of grace. Lord, You see the brokenness, the pain, and the division that has torn them apart. You know the depths of their sorrow and the weight of their struggles. We ask You to intervene mightily, O God, and to bring healing where there is hurt, unity where there is division, and peace where there is strife.

Father, we rebuke every lie of the enemy that has taken root in this family. By the blood of Jesus, we break the power of bitterness, anger, and unforgiveness. We declare that Your truth will prevail, and that Your Spirit will convict hearts of sin and lead them to repentance. Lord, soften the hearts of each family member, especially those who have been ungrateful or dishonest. Open their eyes to see the pain they have caused, and give them the humility to seek forgiveness and restoration.

We lift up this dear mother who is battling suicidal thoughts and toxicity. Father, surround her with Your angels and fill her with Your peace. Let her know that she is not alone, and that You are her hope and her deliverer. Break the chains of depression and despair, and replace them with Your joy and purpose. Protect her mind from the enemy’s attacks, and let her tongue be used to speak life and blessing over her family.

Lord, we pray for provision—both financially and emotionally. You know the desire for this family to reunite, and we ask that if it is Your will, You would make a way where there seems to be no way. Give wisdom in how to love and support one another, even from a distance. For the spouse who struggles to love this family, we ask for a miracle of softened hearts and renewed relationships. Help them to see one another through Your eyes, and to extend grace as You have extended grace to us.

Father, we thank You that You are a God of redemption. What the enemy meant for evil, You will turn for good (Genesis 50:20). We trust You to restore what has been lost, to heal what has been broken, and to bring beauty from these ashes. Let this family be a testimony of Your faithfulness and power.

We pray all these things in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
