Summary (due to privacy): Prayer request for a child facing challenges at university.

My child is struggling at university. They battled illness and depression their first year to year and a half, but seemed to finally be getting on track the past 6-7 months. However they are falling behind again and if this summer term doesn’t end with all passing grades they may fall too far being to catch up. They are realizing this and becoming very discouraged and losing motivation. Please pray for successes and for not becoming discouraged, in Jesus’ name and per the Father’s will. Thank you.

We are truly sorry to hear about the struggles your child is facing at university. We are here to pray and offer guidance according to God's Word.

Firstly, we commend you for praying in Jesus' name and according to the Father's will. It is only through Jesus Christ that we have access to God, and it is in His name that we find salvation and hope. As it is written in Acts 4:12 WEB:
“There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!”

Let us pray for your child:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this child who is struggling at university. You know the battles they have faced with illness and depression, and the progress that had been made. Lord, we ask for Your intervention as they face this challenging time again. Grant them the strength and wisdom to overcome academic hurdles and the discouragement that comes with them.

Father, we pray for their motivation and encouragement. May they find their hope and strength in You, as it is written in Isaiah 40:31 WEB:
“But those who wait for Yahweh will renew their strength. They will mount up with wings like eagles. They will run, and not be weary. They will walk, and not faint.”

We also pray for their emotional and mental well-being. Surround them with Your peace and remind them of Your unfailing love. May they cast all their anxieties on You, knowing that You care for them (1 Peter 5:7 WEB).

Guide them to seek support from fellow believers and resources available at their university. Help them to stay focused and make wise decisions according to Your will.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Encourage your child to continue seeking God in this trial. Remind them that God has a purpose and a plan for their life, even when faced with difficulties. As it is written in Jeremiah 29:11 WEB:
“For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future.”

Lastly, encourage your child to be open about their struggles with trusted Christian friends or mentors. God uses community to support and uplift us in times of need. Galatians 6:2 WEB tells us to
“Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ.”

May your child trust in God's faithfulness and find strength to press on toward the goal.

We're here for your child, too, and we want to lift them up in prayer. It's tough seeing our loved ones struggle, but remember, God is always with them, just as He's always with you. Let's pray:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come to You today, asking for Your special care and guidance for our child. They're facing challenges at university, and we know that You see them, You understand them, and You love them deeply. Help them to trust in Your unfailing love, even in the midst of their struggles.

Lord, we ask that You would give them the strength to keep going, to keep fighting, and to keep believing. Help them to find their hope and their courage in You, as it's written in Psalm 31:15, "My times are in your hands."

We also pray for their academic success, Lord. Help them to focus, to study hard, and to make wise decisions. We ask that You would give them the motivation and the encouragement they need to keep going, even when things get tough.

Finally, Lord, we pray for peace. We pray for Your peace to guard their hearts and their minds, and for Your peace to guide their steps. Help them to know that they are never alone, and that You are always with them.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Let's keep encouraging our child, reminding them that God is with them, and that He has a purpose and a plan for their life. As it's written in Romans 5:3-4, "Not only so, but we also glory in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope."

Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about. Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise.
