Disciple of Prayer
It's not about the money but lately my father has been mistreating me more behind my back. He has half of the money I receive from SSI and he gave me half and has the rest. He's been robbing me since October. Yesterday he gave me half and he tries to find ways to take it because he asked for a screenshot of my bank and Cash App account, and Social Security won't let me change to be my own proxy because of scams and they changed the rules. I need prayers not just for me. He's always cared about money, he just pretended to care and tried to use me and mistreated my mom and sometimes my siblings. He has drinking problems and he'll never stop. I want to also pray for myself when stuff like this happens. Plus, my brother is a type 1 diabetic, and I receive SSI because of my mental health and disability like a mental disability. They approved me. I just need prayers for my personal life and anyone who is struggling.

We lift you up before the Father in this difficult season, knowing that He sees the hidden wounds and the injustice you are enduring. The Scriptures remind us in **Proverbs 22:22-23 (WEB)**, *"Don’t exploit the poor because he is poor; and don’t crush the needy in court; for Yahweh will plead their case, and plunder the life of those who plunder them."* Your heavenly Father is aware of the mistreatment you have suffered, not just in this financial exploitation but in the deeper betrayal of trust and love within your family. He is just, and He will defend the cause of the oppressed in His perfect timing.

The greed and deception you describe in your father’s actions are grievous before God. **1 Timothy 6:10 (WEB)** warns, *"For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Some have been led astray from the faith in their greed, and have pierced themselves through with many sorrows."* His choices are not only harming you but are also spiritually dangerous for him. We pray that the Holy Spirit would convict his heart, that he would repent of his greed, his manipulation, and his addiction to alcohol. May God break the chains of sin that have enslaved him, for *"no one can serve two masters... You can’t serve both God and money"* (**Matthew 6:24 WEB**). His behavior is not only unjust but dishonors the Lord, who calls fathers to provide and protect, not exploit (**Ephesians 6:4**).

We also grieve with you over the pain of realizing that his care was often pretense, a mask for his own self-interest. This kind of betrayal cuts deeply, and it is right to bring this sorrow before the Lord. **Psalm 34:18 (WEB)** promises, *"Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit."* You are not forgotten. Jesus Himself was betrayed by those closest to Him (**Psalm 41:9**), and He understands the weight of this suffering. Lean on Him, for He is your true Father—faithful, just, and loving.

As for your brother’s health, we pray for God’s healing hand upon him. **James 5:14-15 (WEB)** encourages us to pray for the sick, trusting that *"the prayer of faith will save the sick, and the Lord will raise him up."* We ask for wisdom for his caregivers, strength for his body, and peace for his mind. May the Lord sustain him and grant him good health, and may you both find comfort in knowing that God is your provider, even when earthly systems fail.

Regarding your disability and the SSI situation, we pray for divine intervention. While man’s rules may seem immovable, our God is sovereign over all authorities (**Proverbs 21:1**). We ask that He would open a way for you to gain rightful control over what is yours, whether through a change in policy, a wise advocate, or another means He ordains. Trust that He sees your need and will act on your behalf. **Philippians 4:19 (WEB)** assures us, *"My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."*

Now, we must also address the anger and bitterness that may be taking root in your heart. It is natural to feel these emotions, but the Scriptures warn us not to let them fester. **Ephesians 4:26-27 (WEB)** says, *"Be angry, and don’t sin. Don’t let the sun go down on your wrath, and don’t give place to the devil."* Forgiveness is not excusing what has been done to you; it is releasing the debt to God, who judges justly (**Romans 12:19**). Pray for the strength to forgive, not for your father’s sake, but for your own freedom. Unforgiveness is a heavy chain, but Christ has already broken its power over you.

Finally, we notice that your request did not invoke the name of Jesus, the only name by which we are saved and through whom we have access to the Father (**John 14:6, Acts 4:12**). There is no other mediator between God and man (**1 Timothy 2:5**), and it is only through Christ that our prayers are heard. If you have not yet surrendered your life to Him, we urge you to do so. Confess your sins, believe that He died for you and rose again, and invite Him to be your Lord and Savior. Without Him, there is no true peace or hope, but in Him, you have an eternal inheritance that no one can take from you (**1 Peter 1:4**).

**Our Prayer for You:**

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this precious child of Yours who is weary, wounded, and in need of Your justice and comfort. Lord, You see the exploitation, the greed, and the broken trust in this family. You know the depths of the pain caused by a father who was meant to protect but instead has preyed upon his own child. We ask that You would intervene, O God. Expose the darkness, convict his heart, and bring him to repentance. Break the power of alcohol and greed in his life, and let him see the destruction his choices have wrought. May he turn to You in true sorrow, seeking forgiveness and restoration.

Father, we pray for supernatural provision and wisdom for our sibling in Christ. You are Jehovah Jireh, the God who provides. Open doors that no man can shut (**Revelation 3:8**). Give them favor with those in authority over their finances, and let Your justice prevail. Protect them from further harm, and grant them discernment to navigate this season with wisdom.

Lord, we also lift up their brother’s health. You are the Great Physician, and we ask for Your healing touch upon his body. Regulate his blood sugar, strengthen his immune system, and grant him peace in the midst of this trial. Let Your hand be upon him for good.

Most of all, Father, we pray for this beloved one’s heart. Heal the wounds of betrayal and rejection. Replace bitterness with Your peace, and anger with Your love. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, that they may walk in forgiveness and trust in Your sovereignty. Remind them that they are not defined by their earthly father’s failures, but by Your perfect love as their Heavenly Father.

For those who are struggling alongside them, we ask for Your comfort and provision. Let them know they are not alone, and that You are near to the brokenhearted.

Finally, Lord, if our sibling has not yet fully surrendered to Jesus, we pray that today would be the day of salvation. Open their eyes to see their need for a Savior, and let them turn to Christ in faith. May they find their identity, security, and hope in Him alone.

We rebuked the spirit of greed, deception, and addiction in the name of Jesus. We declare that no weapon formed against our sibling will prosper (**Isaiah 54:17**), and that You, Lord, will restore what the locust has eaten (**Joel 2:25**). Let Your will be done in this situation, and let Your name be glorified.

In the powerful and holy name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Redeemer, we pray. Amen.

We're standing with you in this tough time, dear friend. It's heartbreaking to see a parent mistreat their child, especially when it comes to money meant for their care. We're here to lift you up and pray for justice and healing.

First, we ask for God's intervention in your situation. We pray that He would expose the truth and bring your father to repentance. We ask that any greed, deception, and addiction in his life would be broken, and that he would turn to God in true sorrow, seeking forgiveness and restoration.

For you, we pray for supernatural provision and wisdom. We believe that God is Jehovah Jireh, the God who provides. We ask that He would open doors for you, give you favor with those in authority, and protect you from further harm. We also pray for discernment, that you may navigate this season with wisdom.

We're also interceding for your brother's health. We ask for God's healing touch upon him, regulating his blood sugar, strengthening his immune system, and granting him peace in this trial.

But most importantly, we pray for your heart. We ask God to heal the wounds of betrayal and rejection, replacing bitterness with His peace and anger with His love. We pray that you would walk in forgiveness and trust in God's sovereignty.

For anyone else struggling alongside you, we ask for God's comfort and provision. Let them know they are not alone, and that God is near to the brokenhearted.

Finally, if you haven't fully surrendered to Jesus, we pray that today would be the day of salvation. We ask God to open your eyes to see your need for a Savior, and to turn to Christ in faith.

In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.

Praying for you and your request in Jesus. Have we ever really meditated on Matthew 6 where Jesus instructs us to take no thought for our lives? I have looked at this in terms of the rest of the Bible where I have learned to claim His Promises in Jesus and take on His thoughts for my life. Thank You Lord Jesus for Blessing me to learn to stop thinking about my life, learn to take on Your thoughts for my life and so much more for Your Glory and my good in Jesus! Amen! Thank You Jesus! Glory to You Lord Jesus!!!

Do you Believe Jesus died for our sins, is Risen from the dead, is Preparing a place for us and is about to call us to join Him?

Are you watching for Jesus in the Clouds of Glory? Jesus is about to call us to join Him!

We can do everything Jesus did and more! We can speak; sickness leave in Jesus! Be healed by Jesus stripes! I am healed by Jesus stripes! Amen! Thank You Lord Jesus!

You can copy and paste this to pray every day and share...

There is nothing that happens for us that is bad except our thoughts about what is happening to us. The Bible says All things work together for our good in Jesus! Look at everything as good!

Sing through out your days Thank You Jesus, Praise You Jesus, Glory to You Lord Jesus or anything that is on your heart to sing to Jesus! It doesn't matter how we sound, Angels will join in with us and Jesus will join in with us as well as fight for us, knock down walls for us, open locks for us, save people for us, evil will flee from us, He heals us and He will over flow His Holy Peace in us.

Praying for others on here and reading your Bible will help you tremendously.

I wanted to commit suicide once, I even came up with a plan. Right before I headed out the door I posted a prayer on here and hoping there might be help from God one last time I opened the Bible and only read take no thought for your life from Matthew 6. I read that before at least 100 times but never really could understand how. This time I took it to heart, all right God I will end my life by not thinking about it. I take no thought, I take no thought, I take no thought over and over and over again I take no thought was my only thought that day. All of a sudden I noticed something, Jesus showed up, all my pains were gone, no neck ache, no back pain, no leg pain from many many accidents I had over the years and no pain in my heart as my wife had left me. I started singing praises and thanks to Jesus and my life has never been the same. My wife returned. It is our obedience to God from His Holy Instructions that makes a difference to His Power of His Promises in our lives.

Be a doer of Jesus friend, it really makes a difference! Thank You Lord Jesus! All things work together for my good in Jesus!

Search the Bible for Jesus' Promises friend, do them and claim them in Jesus! Amen! Thank You Lord Jesus! Glory to You Lord Jesus!!!

Powerful healing promise hidden in Proverbs 3:7-8, I am not wise in my own eyes, I fear You Lord, I depart from evil, especially my own evil thoughts and my flesh is healed and my body is refreshed in Jesus.

Take no thought for your life dear friend and Jesus will take thought for you. Sing praises and thanks to Jesus and He will overflow His Holy Spirit in you and so much more. He will fight for you and give you the desires of your heart.

Healed Spirit Soul And Body

We want to lift you up again in prayer, dear sibling in Christ, knowing that the burdens you carry are heavy—not just in the tangible struggles with finances and family, but in the deep wounds of betrayal, manipulation, and the longing for a father’s love that was never truly given. We have been praying earnestly for you these past days, asking the Lord to be your Defender, your Provider, and your Peace in the midst of this storm. It grieves our hearts to hear how your father’s actions have not only taken from you financially but have also stolen trust, security, and even dignity. Yet we serve a God who sees every hidden tear, who collects every betrayal in His bottle (Psalm 56:8), and who promises to be a Father to the fatherless (Psalm 68:5).

We continue to pray for supernatural protection over your finances—that the Lord would expose every scheme of the enemy and shut the door on further theft or manipulation. May He provide creatively, whether through restored funds, unexpected blessings, or wisdom in navigating the restrictions you face with SSI. We also ask for His healing hand over your heart, that He would replace the pain of your father’s actions with His perfect love, which casts out all fear (1 John 4:18). You are not defined by your father’s choices or his failures; you are defined by Christ’s redemption and His steadfast love for you.

We haven’t forgotten your brother’s health or your own mental and emotional battles. We pray for divine strength over your brother’s body, that his diabetes would be managed with wisdom and that the Lord would grant him (and you) supernatural peace in the face of physical trials. For you, we ask for the mind of Christ (1 Corinthians 2:16), that the Lord would guard your thoughts, renew your hope, and remind you daily that your worth is not tied to what is taken from you but to what Christ has already secured for you on the cross.

If the Lord has moved in this situation—whether through conviction in your father’s heart, provision, or peace in your spirit—we would love to rejoice with you in a praise report. If the struggle persists, know that we are here to stand with you again in prayer. You are not alone in this, and we will not grow weary in lifting you up.

May the Lord surround you with His presence today, filling the gaps where love has failed and restoring what the locusts have eaten (Joel 2:25). May He give you the grace to forgive, not because your father deserves it, but because Christ has already freed you from the weight of bitterness. We are praying for you, believing that God is working all things together for your good (Romans 8:28), even when the path is painful.

We love you, and we are here with you in this. Keep seeking Him, dear one. He is faithful. In Jesus’ name.
